"Oh how could I, escape the torturous wold my mother has set for me?" I thought as i sat and brushed my fingers through the grass.

Again, i drifted off into my thoughts, filling my mind of the colorful world i would love to find. But, reality was set in stone. i felt there was no escape. The breeze swept across my back, as i heard this strange noise. A noise that i couldn't even describe. The noise rung through my ears.... "tick tock, tick tock" I hear in the distance.

I turn my head quickly, almost kinking my neck. I see a girl running and she has a crazy watch in her hand. She has bunny ears and he only thought that i could think of , is that i was daydreaming once again. I turn my head and suddenly i feel a tap on my shoulder. Almost shocked me. The cold finger that layed against my shoulder blade. I hear a giggle.

I turn around to see this strange girl stand before me. She told me of a world that was full of color and wonder and that i could follow her there, but i would have to sell my soul to the red queen. I stood immensly and asked..."what do you mean, sell my soul?" she responds with another giggle once again. "where is this place that you speak of, and why do you keep giggling?" her giggles are evil, yet intriguing but, i could only feel curiosity for this world that she spoke of.

"you have to follow me, i will take you over the pond and through the woods, there is a tree that can take us there" she said, as she giggles once again.

After the frustration of her giggling i decide that i have no other choice, if i want to escape this world and my torturous mom who would never allow me to be the child that i am.

I follow the rabbit, her ears flop as we run and her hair blows in the wind. she is holding her clock, intentionally staring at it very time it ticks and tocks.... we head around the pond and enter the dark deep forest. There is a trail, that is covered in mud, tar and the remains of dead animals.

The forest is dark, cold and gloomy. "why is is so dark?" i ask. She quickly responds with "you must see the ugly, before the beauty" she snares with a sadistic giggle once again.

We enter the forest and i could feel the goosebumps on my spine and the hairs stand on the back of my neck.... I can feel something tugging at my feet , i look down and the  branches from trees are trying to grasp me. I skittishly sprint ahead to the rabbit, she takes a side glance at me and asks

"afraid, are we?" i snare back with a "NO!"

Suddenly "thump thump thump" i feel my heart jump.
