Prologue:

I pulled my hood over my head and walked into the hospital. I quickly made my way up to the 3rd floor. I walked along glancing at room numbers as I walked by, stopping when I found 379. I tried to twist the door handle but it was locked. But I was prepared. I pulled a bobby pin out of my hair and inserted it into the key hole. After a minute of jiggling and twisting it, I head a faint click, and I triumphantly swung the door open, being sure to close it behind me.  

The room before me was filled with rows upon rows of filing cabinets. Thankfully they were all labeled clearly by the section of the hospital they came from. I quickly began searching, and stopped when my eyes landed on the one I was looking for; maternity ward. There were filing cabinets on both sides of the isle. I found the one labeled 1996 and quickly opened it. There were 12 thick folders in it. I grabbed the one labeled July and began quickly leafing through it until I found a sub-folder labeled 16. In side there were 7 files in clear plastic folders. I leafed through them glancing at the names; Will, Cassie, Emily, Gabrielle, Liam, Jackson, Alexandra. I grabbed the last one and, my hands trembling took it out and began to read it,

First Name: Alexandra

Middle Name: Elizabeth

Last Name: Swan

Gender: Female

D.O.B: July 26, 1996, 12:23 P.M.

Father: Unknown

Mother: Emma Swan

Emma Swan I breathed triumphantly to myself. I slipped the file into my backpack, before replacing the folder and slipping quietly out of the room.
