Have a nice day. Enjoy this awesome book about Loki.*

ONE

"Jane? Darcy?" I called, looking for my two best friends around a warehouse. About three kids ran by laughing. I saw Darcy and Ian. I ran to them.

"I was looking for you all!" I exclaimed. Ian opened his mouth to speak, but Darcy interrupted him.

"We were looking for you and Jane!" She said Ian sort of looked at her dreamily and she glanced at him. He looked away.

"Where did Jane go?" I asked.

"I have no earthly idea," Darcy said. Then she added,

"I'll call Shield."

"I don't think that's a good idea," Ian said, scratching his head.

"Sure it is intern!" Darcy said. Ian rolled his eyes.

"My name i-"

"I don't care," Darcy interrupted. Sometimes, she could be really rude. Soon, Shield card were riding up in the parking lot of the warehouse, and agents jumped out. They began asking Darcy a bunch of questions, and I looked around.

I saw Jane. She was talking to Thor. She had met Thor a while back before his idiot of a brother Loki destroyed New York.

"Jane!" I screamed. I ran to her and tackled her in a huge hug.

Thor chuckled at me and Darcy ran up. Jane started yelling at Darcy, asking her why she called Shield. The agents were patting down Ian the intern.

"I'm sorry, at the time, I thought it would be an awesome idea," Darcy admitted. Soon, I heard Thor whisper to Jane,

"hold onto me."

She clutched to him, and I quickly grabbed Jane's jacket. I didn't want to go anywhere she wasn't going. The world suddenly began to flash by in different colors and soon, we were in a kingdom. I let go of Jane's jacket and she glanced at me.

"Go hide somewhere," she whispered to me.

"Okay," I said.

I took off running before anyone could see me. I ran down some stairs. A lot of stairs, and into a dark place. There were white cell looking things with transparent orange walls. This must be the dungeon. I looked around. There were lots of men in each cell, and I saw one cell that was fancier then the rest.

There was one person in the fancy cell. His back was turned to me. He had pitch black hair that was sort of slicked and swept back. He wore better clothing then the rest. He turned to me and he was reading a book. He must have felt my presence or something, because he looked up and stopped flipping pages. Loki.

We locked eyes for a moment and nobody dared to breathe. Loki finally spoke first.

"I didn't know it was visiting hours. What did you come to do? Scream at me about New York? Tell me I'm an idiot?" I knew he was harmless in the cell, but I felt terrified.

"I just got lost," I lied. Well, it wasn't really a lie. Loki smirked.

"Sure, sure," he said. "You don't look like you're from around here. You're from Midgard aren't you? Did my worthless brother bring you here?"
