The matron sat in front of her computer, and searched for an orchestra. She didn't have a large budget, so it had to be a cheap orchestra, not an expensive elaborate one. The latter would be nice to share with the children, but unfortunately they couldn't have that.

After a variety of searches, she finally found one. She clicked on the link and it took her to a page that had a picture of the group at the top. It was a small orchestra of probably around twenty to thirty members.

She scrolled down the page, and she saw the "Performance Policy". It said "We will perofrm for free for anyone in the nearby area. If you aren't in the nearby area (shown on the map below) they you will have to pay a small fee to help with our transportation."

The matron looked at the map, and found the orphanage's loctation, and she found out that they were in the nearby are.

This is perfect! She said to herself, and she wrote down the contact information.

She picked up the phone, and dialed the orchestra's number. When they picked up, she got a secretary to talk to.

"Hello? I am the matron of the Cambodian Orphanage.  We'd be interested in having your orchestra come and perform for the children. "

"Alright. You don't have to pay anything because you are in the nearby area. Do you have any specific dates that'll work for you?"

"Not really. If you could give me their next opening, that would be great."

"Okay, let me see. They're free next Saturday the whole day. Does that would for you?"

"That's perfect! Thank you so much! They can come shortly after lunch and perform for the children then!"

"Alright, Thank you matron. I'll write you down, and they'll see you then."

"Thanks, bye." And the matron hung up the phone.

She sat there, and a smile grew on her face. The joy that she experienced as a young girl came flooding back into her soul. She was excited to have the orchestra come. Since she never was able to learn an instrument, she could never personally give the joy to others. But she can cause the joy to come, and she just did. This made her feel warm and complete on the inside, and she was glad.

The doctor just got out of the surgical room. He took off his coat, hung it up, and went into the lounge to get another cup of coffee. He sat down for a break, and started to talk to one of his nurses sitting across from him.

"I had to perform another amputation." He stated sadly.

"Another?" she asked. "Was it a land mine?"

"Yes. It always seems to be a land mine. There's just too many that hven't been taken up. It's so dangerous out there now. Everyone holds the risk of getting hurt or killed by one."

"That reminds me, doctor. This morning we got the DNA reports back from the lab."

"We did? Could you go get them for me?"

"Sure Doctor. Be right back." The nurse got up with her coffee and went to fetch the report.

The doctor sat back in the navy blue chair. Stareing at the wooden coffee table across from him, he racked his brain to think of a possibility to help the child at the orphanage. All of my visits seem to do nothing...He thought to himself. He pictured the child's face in his mind. His hair...his face....his eyes....all are so similar to...him.

The doctor's glasses stared to fog up, an he pulled them off his nose and wiped them off. The doctor leaned forward and grabbed the bridge of his nose and closed his eyes.

"Are you okay Doctor?" The nurse had returned.

The doctor stood up quickly and put his glasses abck on. "I'm fine. Do you have the report?"

"Yes, Doctor. Here it is." She said as she handed him the report.

The doctor walked over to the counter and laid out the report. Looking it over, the doctor inhaled sharply, recognizing the similarities. The child was related to the two victims. The women was the child's mother, and the young girl was his twin sister. The doctor heaved a sigh, and turned back to the nurse.

"I'll have to head over to the orphanage today. Can you have Doctor San cover for me?" He asked her.

"Yes, I'll go tell him now."

The doctor picked up the report,  grabbed his coat and his hat, signed out, and headed off to the orphanage to tell the matron of the news.

So he was a vitctim of a land mine incident". The matron stated.

"Yes. Our guesses were true, so now we continue with what we've been doing, only with more certainty." The doctor replied.

"So do we know who they all were?" The matron asked.

"No. They were not registered, so we only got a DNA scan, with no name match-up. We know, based on the similarities of the DNA, how the three are related, but we do not know who they actually are. Hopefully in time the child will tell us that. "

"So we'll keep at it then," The matron said. "Hopefully we'll find something to help the child heal."
