Sugar Sugar Rune Chapter 3

"Why..? When Chocolat defeated Glacier and the ogres, shouldn't everything be okay now?" Vanilla asked quivering.

"Vanilla..." I tightened my fist.

"Unfortunately that's not how it is. It's getting really late. You ought to get some rest." Mama ushered.

She leaped down from my shoulder and on to Pierre.

"Going back to the magical world late at night is a rather dreadful thing. Especially with what's lurking around."

"Your right, mama. I must be heading back to the kingdom," I agreed,"will you be coming as well, Pierre?"

"Not with the witches around, Chocolat." he replied with a sad smile.

We embraced in a hug and everybody bid their goodbye.

Bianca took caution around mama. As if she was gonna get eaten.

Vanilla and I got on our broom and soar up into the sky.

Our flight was cut off as a stampeding sound ascended from the air.

"CHOCOLAT!" Vanilla yelled alarmingly.

Vanilla tackled me off the broom and falling down the sky. Just as my broom was shredded to pieces by the galloping black horses.

Four black horses running on the sky pulling along a dark carriage. I caught a glimpse of a pale women inside.

That was all I saw until I blacked out because of the collision.

"Is Queen Chocolat alright...?"

"Goodness gracious! A flying carriage in the human world? Unbelievable!"

"Do you think it could be the work of Black Diamond perhaps?"

My eyes slowly open and I sat up on the bed. I leaned against the wall, carefully glance around my surrounding and realize I was still in the human world.

"Chocolat."

Pierre sat next to me with a worried expression.

The image of the pale women still left an imprint on my mind.

"We fear for your safety, Queen Chocolat. So I ask you stay here with Pierre and leave everything to us in the magical world." Kaito, one of the elder suggested.

It was decided. I would stay with Pierre and mama until the elders decided it was safe for me to come back to the magical world.

"Chocolat chan," Vanilla handed me some candy medicine,"get better."

I nodded.

"Chocolat, we need to talk after everyone clear out."

I looked around the room to see mama sitting on the windowsill with a black rose in her mouth. Her hazel yellow eyes pierced into mine.

It was something important. Something about that rose.

A very short and quick chapter. I'm sorry I haven't updated in so long and I don't like how this story sound right now. It doesn't sound like right. So please bear with me as I try to get some ideas for this story. Vote, comment, fan!
