Sugar Sugar Rune Chapter 4

Vanilla and Bianca headed back to the Magical World after I assured them for the millionth time that I would be alright. Well, more like assuring Vanilla, with Bianca planning to overthrow me as the Queen or whatever she was blabbering about. 

Pierre went back to his room for he needed to rest.

Mama closed the door to the room with a nudge and hopped onto the bed. She carefully release the black rose in my open palmed hand. 

"What is this Mama?" I asked curiously. Where did this come from?

When everyone was in panic mode to get you immediate help, I saw this rose nearby. It also wasn't a coincidence that I managed to catch a glimpse of the carriage that pass you by.

I didn't say this to Mama, but that carriage was the same one I first saw Pierre in. Black with majestic white horses. I'm wondering if I should discuss the carriage issue with Pierre alone.

I recognize her. The pale woman in the carriage.

I snapped out of my thoughts and my eyes widened. 

"Y-you know her, Mama?"

We..have a past together.

"Is she a dangerous foe? Mama did you upset her somehow?" 

A dangerous and mighty one that you'll have to be cautious of, Chocolat. I did not anger her, Glace have and I add to the fuming hatred.

No matter how many times Mama say it, I just can't accept the fact that the man who almost destroyed the Magical World was my father.

The woman name is Rue Pistache, and was once Glace many mistresses. I guess she always felt more special than the rest and knew he would alway come back to her. However, he did not come back one fateful day. That was the day I met Glace, the first day of the Queen Candidacy. She was at Le Royame Palace waiting for Glace to come back from a visit from the Magical World. Glace at the time, was persistant on getting my heart to turn red for him. Little did he know I was actually a witch, and I did not find him attractive in any way so it wasn't hard to protect my heart. Rue happened to use her magic to see what he's up to, and saw us. She didn't pay much attention to it, because like I said she felt she was more special to him than anyone. But he spent more and more time in the Human World than with her, which made her seethed with anger. She took me as a threat and soon there was a war, that was kept hidden and erased from everybody mind. Everybody that is for 3 certain minds.

"Mama, who won the war?" I find it hard to breathe with the captivating past Mama had with Rue and Glace. 

Mama averted her hazel eyes away.

Everything I thought I knew, I didn't. When I thought all the secrets was exposed, it wasn't. 

It was a long war, but we weren't the only one in the war. It wasn't between Glace, Rue, and me anymore. It was all of the Magical World. The war that led to another. The peace we could have had, but didn't. She was the creator of the first one, she'll soon be the creator of another if we don't do something.There's many things that woman is capable of, and in my current state, I cannot help you. Get ready Chocolat, my beloved child, the Magical World will be thrown into chaos once more.

A/N: Finally updated! Yay! There's a peek into the upcoming plot now! DUN DUN DUN! What on earth will happen next? The next chapter will be a filler one looking into Cinnamon's past and the "hidden" war. Thank you for being so patient with me and this story. I know I take forever to update and I'm sorry about that. I'm having so much trouble trying to make the character sound like they do in the anime/manga. So excuse them if they sound weird.
