Makeovers and Parties

"Hey, Chlo, I know I said I'd meet up with you tonight but I'm kinda super busy. I'll explain more later but give me a call back when you get this message." I uttered into my phone, anxiously waiting outside my car which was parked outside Cameron's house. Five minutes later, he pulled up the drive and lazily sauntered inside, leaving the door open. I followed him in a shut the door more forcefully than necessary.

"Seriously?" He turned round and raised an eyebrow.

"Hey." He said with a smirk.

"Hey? Hey?! I've been waiting outside your house for twenty minutes and when you finally show, you say nothing but hey?"

"I had some stuff to do."

"Then you should've cancelled. Not left me to wait outside like some creepy stalker."

"I'm sure loads of guys would be glad to have you stalk them." He joked, heading into the kitchen.

"I'm not a stalker. Can you please tell me what I'm doing here?"

"I told you. It's a remodel. We just need to wait for Amelia to get home."

"Wait... Amelia, your sister? I thought - I -- but..."

"Whoa, calm down. It's no big deal. Look, my fashion knowledge is limited to what looks good on me. That's it. Except I do know that your style needs a lot of rehab. That of which I cannot offer. Like I said a few days ago, Lia's job is basically knowing what looks good. So she's gonna help out. And she's in on this whole project."

"I thought you said that no one was meant to know."

"Well... no one except me, you, your friend and my sister. Sound good?" I reluctantly nodded my head and sat down across the counter from him. "She should be home soon. And you need to relax. Wyatt's not gonna be home for hours."

"Cammie?" I looked up from my mug of now cold coffee to see a girl walk in. She was a brunette paired with chocolate eyes. Everything about her screamed upper class. She basically looked like Wyatt and Cameron mixed together but older and female. To say she was stunning would be the understatement of the year. I couldn't help but feel insecure as she scrutinised me with her gaze. "This must be... Mackayla was it?" I watched as Cameron rolled his eyes and took away my mug and set it in the dish washer.

"Lia, that's not her name and we both know it. I thought you'd be glad I'm finally trying to get rid of Jessica." She weighed this thought for a moment before grinning slyly.

"I guess. Mackenzie, is it?" She asked. I slowly nodded then whimpered when she chuckled at my obvious discomfort.

"I'm leaving her in your very capable hands. Just... try not to scar her too much. I still need her." He told us before leaving. She observed me one last time before turning round.

"Well come along. I don't have all night." I hurried to catch up to her and she lead me into her room. It wasn't too dissimilar to Cameron's apart from the opposite colour scheme - whereas Cameron's was all dark blue, Amelia's was creams and light pinks. "So, I understand what you have to gain from this whole experiment," she started, walking into her wardrobe "but I don't get what Cammie get's out of it."

"Um... neither do I. Honestly, I don't get any of this."

"Just as long as you know that my brother would never go for you." She hummed, skimming through the racks of clothes.
