"Oh... It must be hard losing someone here..." Your eyes lit up. "A letter, you say? I got the same one a few weeks ago." You took a flyer out of your pocket and showed it to the plumber. Luigi took the paper and asked, "Did you come here the same day you got this?" You nodded. "I got lost after that, so I just started sulking in the corner, seeing ghosts fly all over the place. It's like a living nightmare..." As Luigi was processing your words into his mind, he exclaimed, "D-Did you s-say gh-ghosts?!" He backed up. "Yes, why?" you asked. "I'm t-terrified of ghosts!" he said out loud.
A few seconds later, a ghost appeared along with a wee little man who was trying to fight it off. With help from a little gadget, the ghost disappeared just like that. "That was quite a workout." The scientist said as he stretched his arms. He turned around seeing the two people scared, but yet, amazed. "Are you two alright?" They both nodded. "Then you must come with me, quick." The scientist walked away. The two weren't so sure whether to trust him or not, but they followed. They all went to a room filled with tons of gadgets and invention, which might have been created by the scientist. "I am Professor E. Gadd. Welcome to my lab. Who are you two?" Luigi stepped up and said, "I'm Luigi and this is (y/n)." You showed a little smile after the plumber said your name.
