Chapter 2: Oh It's You.
Z, for Zayn. He was the one all along. 4 years ago, he was the one I saw at the beach. Him. Zayn. Zayn Malik. One Direction, Zayn Malik. Wow. I remember one of One Directions interview.
"So Zayn, what is one valuable thing you've had?" says the girl with the mic. "Uhm, it would be my necklace it has a 'Z' and I had it since I was 5 years old. It means a lot to me. Unfortunately I misplaced it. Whoever has it, I will find you." he says with his british accent.
What did he mean, he will find me? What would he do? Would he get angry? But it had been 4 years. 4 years since he has lost this necklace. I still don't believe it is him.
"Kendall? Helloooo?" Bea says as she waved her hand. I got back to reality and I looked around. The boys were sitting 2 tables away from us. I looked in my bag, I searched for my cotton bag, it was small. I kept the necklace in it. I opened the bag and the necklace was still there. I examined it, it said 'Z'. One thing that surprised me is that at the back of the necklace was a heart. It was beautiful. I kept it safe once again. I didn't want to give it back. That sounded selfish but whatever. I liked it, so much.
"Bea" I said, as there was a big lump in my throat. I was nervous. I was panicking inside. "You okay?" she asks. "B-bea-a, Z...Z...is....zayn." I said, she looked at me surprised. "You mean Zayn Malik?" she asks. "Yeah" I said. "Oh, oh!" she says, happily. "What? why?" I asked her. "Aww that's cute! I know One Direction." she said. "Well, please don't tell him. Please, Bea." I say. "Of course I won't." she says and she smiles.
"I have a plan." Bea says. "And?" I asked her. "What if I introduce you to Zayn and when you get to know him, follow your heart and it will tell you the right time when you have to tell him. But remember, you don't have to do it if you don't want to." she says. "I think i'll do it." I said. I wanted him, but we barely knew each other. Bea smiled at me and her dimples showed.
She stood up and she and I walked to the bathroom. We passed the boys and I had them stare at Bea and I for a few seconds. We touch up our makeup and then we walked out slowly. "Hey, Bea?" one of the boys say. Which I think is Harry. He had curly hair and his voice was a bit graspy. "Harry!" Bea says as she hugs all of them. Even Zayn. I stood there awkwardly not knowing what to do, I had a smile on my face though. "Kendall, this is Harry, Louis, Niall, Liam and Zayn." she says as she introduces me to them. They all looked at me, and I smiled at them. I gave them all little hugs but Zayn a bit longer. My face turned red. I was blushing.
"See you guys soon?" Bea asks. As we start to leave the restaurant and we headed back home. It was still early. I spent 2 hours watching Pretty Little Liars. I was hungry so I didn't know what to do. Nobody was home except Bea and I. Kylie's out with her friends, Mom and Dad went out for dinner. I changed into a cropped top that was one shoulder and shorts.
"Hey Kenny, wanna go out for some Fro-yo?" Bea asks. "Yup" I said popping the 'p'. Bea gets her keys from the table and she grabs her iPhone 5s. We head out and we drive to Pink Berry. "So what are you gonna' get?" Bea asks me. "I'm gonna get vanilla and mocha duo! My fave" I said.
We go inside and we see One Direction. They were sitting there eating. I saw Zayn and he had a smile on his face. He's cute---what? Bea and I go inside. "Kenny, go sit there. I'll order for ya." she says, and I nod. I sat in the tall couches in the end, they didn't notice me. I don't think they would remember me. I panic inside and I try to hide my face. I sat down and I went on my iPhone 5s.
In the corner of my eye, I see a person walking towards me. Probably just Bea. "Kendall? right?" It wasn't Bea. The persons voice was a guy voice. It was familiar. His voice was beautiful. I looked up and it was Zayn. "Hey." I said and I smiled at him. His hair was in a quiff, he was wearing a shirt and jeans. He smiled at me. "Are you here alone?" he asks. "Nope, Bea's ordering. What about you?" I asked, knowing the answer. "Nope, I'm with the boys. Haha." he laughs a bit. "Oh, haha." I laughed.
"Zayn!" Bea says as she sees Zayn and she gives him a hug. She gives me my yogurt and I start eating it. Which was a bit rude, but I wasn't as outgoing as Bea was. "You guys should join us then." I hear Zayn say. "We'd love to!" Bea says. I look up and Bea and Zayn looks at me. Zayn smiles at me and he grabs a tissue and wipes the side of my mouth. "Oh, hehe." I said. I turned red. We talked to them for a while and we hanged out.
I got a phone call from Jorge. "Jorge?" I said quite loudly, oops. "Who's Jorge?" I heard Niall say. "He's one of my bestfriends." Bea says. "Hey Kendall, can I speak to Bea?" he asks. Oh yeah, Bea's phone died. "Sure, one sec." I said and I gave Bea the phone. I sat back down with the boys. "So, Kendall. Do you have a boyfriend?" Louis asks, cheekily. "No, I don't" I said as I laugh. Zayn smiles and we all laugh.
We were outside and we were going home now. All their cars are Range Rovers. "See you soon!" Bea says hugging the boys. "Bye guys," I said hugging each one of them. Zayn and I hugged longer. "Can I have your uhh number" he asks nervously. I smile. "Sure," and he gives me his iPhone 5s and I type my number. He hands me my phone as I hand him his. We said bye to each other and we drove home.
I couldn't help but smile at the picture he took on my phone. It was a silly face but he looked handsome.
☁ Zayn Malik's Thoughts;
We were on the way back to the house. We are staying in Bel Air. This is a house we bought (the five of us) because we would tour around a lot. But we still lived in the UK. We were here for another month before we go back on tour.
I collapsed on my bed and I didn't feel tired. I tweeted out, "had so much fun with @beajenner and @kendalljenner <3" I got lots of retweets and questions. I had no time to answer them.
I wanted to text Kendall. She was different, from all the girls I have met. She was beautiful, perfect and I felt a connection. I texted her.
