Chapter 3: New York Fashion Week 2013
I woke up to Kylie shouting. "KENDALLLLL, get up!" she says as I get up quickly and looked at my phone. I'm late ahhh. I quickly dress up. Not fancy but comfy. Black Leggings, a sweater and converse. I grab my bag and we drove fast to the airport.
We got in our private jet. Bea next to Jorge, Kylie next to Jaden and I was alone.
I looked out of the window, the clouds and the sky. I thought about Zayn, I've been thinking about him the past few days. One thing that hit me, I still had Zayn's necklace.
I thought about giving it to him, but I was scared of his reaction.
My phone buzzed. I got a text from Zayn. I unlocked my phone with my thumb.
'Hello beautiful xx'
'Hi Zaynie xx'
'Where are you? :)'
'Flying right now, you?'
'Arrived in NY xx'
'Can't wait to see you guys! x'
'I miss you ;( xx'
'I miss you too xo'
We talked for a while and we finally landed in New York. We got out of the jet and it was cold and windy. A car picked us up and brought us to our hotel. Zayn and the boys are staying in the same hotel.
I was mostly excited of seeing him, but also the photoshoot. It was for Sherri Hill and they said we had 5 boys joining us.
The photoshoot was in 5 hours. I slept for a bit. I removed all my makeup since they were going to do it there. We left the hotel feeling refreshed and ready. Jorge and Jaden stayed in the hotel, they were going out tonight.
We arrive at the shoot and I spot Cassadee & Sherri. "It's so nice of you girls to join us!" she says. We head to our dressing rooms as we get ready.
I put on this gorgeous dress. It was stunning. We went out and I saw five boys that looked familiar. One of the boys turned and it was Zayn! He's here! One Direction are the surprise guests. He looked around for a bit as he saw me and his eyes widened. He gave the most attractive smile. They all turned around and I gave them all a hug.
When I got to Zayn, he and I hugged for about a minute. He whispered in my ear, "You look stunning" in his british accent, and soothing voice. "You don't look so bad yourself," I joked and we started the photoshoot.
We each all had partners Kylie with Harry, Bea with Niall, Louis with Eleanor (another model), Liam with Sarah and Zayn and I.
I felt comfortable around Zayn. We took turns until it was our turn. "Zayn and Kendall!" Sherri says. "My favorite couple." but we're not a couple. It caused me to blush a bit. "I want you to both show love for each other," she says as we head in front of the camera.
I was standing there smiling at the camera and Zayn was holding my waist. He kissed my cheek and I kissed his. We looked at each other smiling. Before you know it the photoshoot ended.
I packed my things and we got ready to go. I was about to go out but Zayn comes in my room.
"Uhh, can we talk?" Zayn asks nervously. He looks cute when he's nervous.
"Look Kendall, I'm falling in love with you. But I want to get to know you better." he says as he looks into my eyes and holds my hand.
"I don't know what to say. I feel the same way about you." I said. He smiles and he kisses my cheek. I love Zayn, he was my bestfriend.
