MY RANT

Okay
So like
I ab-so-lute-ly hate art thieves.

If you didn't know, there are three types of them

The first one is just plain disgusting.

1) Literal Art Theft
There are people out there who steal screenshots and posts from other artists of their art and claim it to be theirs. Don't ever do this, it's literally just horrible. Someone I follow had their art stolen by a tumblr user but I'm glad everyone pitched in to help her out.
Why would people even bother to claim something that isn't theirs just for like 7 minutes of fame?? If they steal it from several, people will already notice that their art style isn't consistent at all and find it fishy.
These artists actually put their FEELINGS, EFFORT and TIME into their art. If they don't get recognition for it just because of an art thief has stolen it, it's just horrible.

AND THOSE PEOPLE WHO REPORT THE ART AND TRY TO BRING THE ART THIEF DOWN ARE REAL HEROES ILL CHERISH YOUR EXISTENCE

2) Tracers/Copycats
Okay these guys need to die. They literally will TRACE over already existing art and claim it as theirs. But I'm sure some miraculous living people will have linked the two pics somehow, that's great. THE COPYCATS WILL ALMOST ALWAYS DENY COPYING ANYTHING AND HARASS THE PERSON WHO CALLED THEM OUT. They will even deny that they used even the slightest bit of reference.
These guys would literally just trace a drawing, recolour it and edit it to make it look different from the original but that doesn't work m8 nah

Ugh
I'm gonna bash a table just talking about these guys

The two above are literally my most hated ones.

And then there's the last kind of art thieves

3) Reposters
Okay, so for reposters, 98% of them WONT KNOW that what they're doing is art theft, they'll get a picture from google or sth because they like it and just post it, unaware of the consequences.
I need to show this to you guys:

I'm not gonna bother writing too much of this kind because my fingers are already aching so I decided to just take a screenshot. I've had a long day at school today.

I sorta had the image of Oka Ruto from yan sim in mind while drawing this.

WEL ANYWAYS GUYS I HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND

And I'm pretty sure my level of art won't get stolen because I have very low self esteem and cannot deem my own art good
But who knows there could be someone out there.

But I doubt it since most art thefts happen to people on Instagram, tumblr, etc.
I'll cut you if you dare try and steal anyone's art.
