Car crash

Time for another sad chapter! So buckle up, this is going to be an emotional roller coaster. Also the song for this chapter is Eyelids by Pvris.

You and Y/C/N were getting ready for dinner. Him, picking you up at 7:30.
You decided to wear a red dress.
You applied a bit of red lipstick to go with your theme. Your phone buzzed with a text from Y/C/N, letting you know he's gonna arrive at your house in 5 minutes.
You quickly do some final touches with your hair and then strap on your shoes. You then grab your purse and go outside.
After a few more minutes, his car arrives. He smiles as he gets out of the car.

"Wow, you look stunning!"

You blushed. "Thanks, you don't look too bad yourself."

"Ready to go then?"

"Yep."

"Good, your chariot awaits." He smiles as he opens the passenger side of the door.

The drive was peaceful and hilarious in the case that he kept making the dumbest puns. You laughing the whole time.

Finally, you were halted by a stop light, only 3 minutes from the place. As the light became green Y/C/N accelerated the car.

Then all of a sudden you hear a loud horn. You looked in the direction it was coming from and before you could react the truck smashed into Y/C/N's car.

You woke up to a blinding bright light. You looked around and saw you were in a hospital bed. Then it all came flooding back, the date, the crash.

Your eyes widened.
"Y/C/N." You gasped.

You started to get up from the bed, landing on your feet.

"Shit." The pain from your ribs ached.

You were still determined to see Y/C/N. You began to limp through the hallway, looking at the names of each person in each room. Finally, you see his name.

You limped inside the room and what you saw shook you. He had tubes in his mouth and dried blood on his face. He was also extremely pale. You cupped your mouth at this site.

You started limping towards his bed. You tried carefully lying on the bed, as your ribs hurt as you did so.

When you finally land on the bed, you take his hand and slip it in yours. Your hands always seemed to fit like a perfect matching puzzle piece.

Tears started streaming down your face.

"Please don't leave me." You whispered, your lips trembling.

"I would never l-leave you."

You quickly looked up. His eyes were slightly opened.

He gently kisses your forehead, then lies back down.

"I love you." He whispered with his eyes closed.

Then suddenly the monitor went dead. Nurses and doctors came rushing in. You hopped off the bed, so the nurses and doctors could help him.

You backed up from the bed.
"No no no" Tears streaming down you face. "Please no."

One of the doctors walked out of the room.

"He's gone. I'm sorry, there's nothing we can do."

Your heart broke at that statement. You guys had plans, dreams, goals, and now that's all gone.
