I wake to the sound of my alarm, and begin to get ready for school. I head out the door, Taehyung's phone tucked into the pocket of my jeans. I smile a little at the thought that I've got V's phone hostage. As I walk down the sidewalk, I decide to be a little bit of a stalker and check out his phone. I switch on the phone and look through his apps. Nothing much. Instagram, skype, mainstream, typical apps. I check out his camera role which is filled with his selfies, until I come across a picture of.. me? Its a picture of me smiling.

How could he have gotten a picture of me? And how could I not have known he was taking a picture of me? I was staring right into the camera lense! Oh. I remember now. It was from the year book! But still. Why would he have a photo of me in his gallery?

I shrug the thought off and come to the decision that I'll simply ask him when I get to school. When I arrive, the hallways are buzzing like always and gossip echoes throughout the hallways. While I'm walking towards my locker I feel a slight tap on my shoulder. I spin around, my hair whipping Taehyung's face. HAH, "whoopsies". He was standing close, therefore its his fault my hair whipped him in the face in the first place.

"I believe you have something that belongs to me?" He says, smirking as he leans down, stretching his hand out in front of him.

"I believe I do.. But I have a question first." I say looking up at him.

"Alright. Put it on me." He says as he straightens and crosses his arms.

I quickly pull up the photo of me standing in the middle of the street, smiling, staring straight into his freaking camera lense. I find it and shove it into his face.

"Why is there a picture of me on your phone?" I quiz, smirking at his confused face. V squints at the photo biting his lip.

"The thing is.." He stumbles. "PSSHHH, how am I supposed to know?! And why were you snooping through my phone?" He says flustered, covering the picture up.

"Uhm. Its your phone dumb ass. I was bored okay." I say, practically yanking the phone back into my possession.

"Well, ye-yeah, it is but I don't know why thats on there..?" He says. I can't help but notice how nervous he looks. He tucks his hands into his pocket and looks away.

"Lies." I say, shoving his phone into the back pocket of my backpack. "You're not getting this back until I get answers!" I say matter-of-factly, whilst I grin and start to walk away. As I walk down the hallway, I hear a zipping sound, then I start to feel something rustling in my backpack. I turn around to see V standing there with his phone in his hand. And my packet of gum. This boii knows how to play! I'm about to tell him off for stealing my gum until I realize everyone in the hallway is watching. I hear whispers consisting of:

"Whats the nerd girl doing with Tae?"

"Whats his business with her?"

"I can't believe hes actually talking to.. whats her name?"

I forget the gum and start speed walking away. Kim Taehyung tries hard to keep up with me. He walks fast beside me.

"Whats wrong?" He asks, panting.

"I attracted attention to myself." I say, looking straight ahead.

V gently plants his hand on my shoulder and turns me around to face him.

"Come on, Violet. Whats wrong with that?" He asks tilting his head. "If you ask me, thats an improvement."

"V!" I snap. "Thats kind of what I'm trying NOT to do! Don't you see? People don't like me! They'll never accept me for who I am! Of course an outcast like me shouldn't be seen with some king of the school!" I say, letting out all my worries and fears right in front of him. I quickly clamp my mouth shut with both of my hands with wide eyes.

"Sorry.. I didn't mean to snap out at y-" I start but V interrupts.

"Trust me, I dont like these labels society puts on us either. Nerds, outcasts, populars.. I hate it too. I may seem shallow and arrogant, but Violet, on the inside i'm not as hollow or empty as I look."

I blink a few times to make sure what he just said wasn't just my imagination. I stare at him for a few seconds and he stares back.

"You know- you're not half as bad as I thought you were." I say smiling slightly.

V shrugs, brushing the compliment off by says something cocky. Typical I guess.

"Tell me something I don't know." He says, grinning, showing all of his teeth. His eyes growing into small moon cresents. I roll my eyes and smile, spinning on my heel to go to my first class. As I walk down the hallway, I feel his eyes burning into the back of my head. I raise my arm and wave, facing away from him.

Seriously. I meant what I said. Kim Taehyung isn't half as bad as I thought he was.
