Getting Better.

To my disappointment, I woke up in a white room in which I assume is a hospital room.
"Isogai," someone spoke.
"Hmm?" I slowly sat up to see everyone from 3-E.
"Maehara. You didn't,"
"I did. They don't know that much. Just the gist of it."
"Maehara, can I talk to you alone?"
"Sure, come on guys," Nagisa said to everyone.
Soon the room was filled with just me and Maehara.
"What's up?" He asked.
"You asked me why I'm depressed. It's because I make people worry. When they could be using their time to make their own futures better. Especially in our positions. I mean, we are the lowest, 'the scum of the school'. I appreciate that you care. But sometimes I think you care too much."
"OK, so why did you attempt suicide? That would make people worry more."
"Yes but eventually you would move on." I replied. He mumbled something but I wasn't sure what he said.
"What did you tell the others?" I asked.
"Just that you're depressed and you self harm."
"That it?"
He nodded. I held out my arms for a hug and he accepted my invitation to cuddle.

Then at that moment, Nakamura came in, with her phone out, I'm guessing with the camera open. "Hey, Karma, come look at this!" She giggled. Karma followed and also took out his phone. Koro-sensei just looked through the window jotting down in a book labeled 'canon ships'.
Maehara laughed nervously, scratching the back of his neck. "Anything to tell us boys?" Koro-sensei said with his smirk.
"Well," Maehara started, "we've been dating for the past few days. That explain?"
"I guess, but just to be sure, kiss." Karma said, with his grin that could beat Koro-sensei. I also swear I saw devil horns.
I sweat dropped. They want me and Maehara to kiss. He blushed and went closer to my lips, and connected his to mine. The girls gasped and squealed the guys just yelled encouragingly. During the kiss, I heard camera shutters go off. We parted and he held his head low. As if he was embarrassed. I giggled and held his hand. The girls may as well have fainted from blood loss.

Eventually, everyone left, it was just me and Maehara. "Hey, can you stay with Soharu and Kotori until I get back?"
"Sure!" He answered, kissing my forehead before heading towards the door.
"Hey, don't worry, I'll visit you everyday, and bring you the homework and notes you miss." I giggled, "You'll concentrate at school for me?" He nodded. "Ok, sure, why not!"

Everyday since then, Maehara visited me, and brought me the homework I missed. We hung out a lot more after I left the hospital room.

"Hey, Maehara, wanna stay over for tea tonight?"
"Sure why not." He kissed my cheek.
We stopped by the shop to pick up extra ingredients before picking up Soharu and Kotori. "Maehara-nii! Are you staying for dinner again?"
"I am! Come on, let's get back so your brother can make his famous Isogai takoyaki!"
"Yay! Takoyaki!"
We got home and I immediately started on our tea, with Maehara's help. But occasionally he would get a bit silly and play with Soharu and Kotori.
"Come on guys! Takoy-"
Before I even finished my sentence both of them rushed down with Maehara behind them. Soharu sat next to Kotori. I sat next to Maehara who was sat in front of Kotori.

We ate our takoyaki while Soharu told us what him and Kotori did at school.
"What about your school, Onii-chan?"
"Oh, umm.. I haven't been back since the hospital."
"You're in the same class as Maehara-nii,  right?" We nodded.
"Well what's it like for Maehara-nii?"
"Don't get me started, I love it!"
"Maehara don't encourage them, they'll end up like us!"
"What's wrong with that? You enjoy the woods don't you? You especially enjoy the P.E lessons with Karasuma-sensei."
I tilted my head in agreement.
They giggled.
"What?" He asked.
"Onii-chan? P.E? No way." They said in unison.
"They have a point Maehara." I giggled with them.
"Come on guys. Bed time."
"Awww!"
"Come on! You heard your brother." I smiled as Maehara backed me up.
"Okay~" They slowly sorted themselves out and went to bed.
"Hey, you got netflix?" Maehara asked.
"Yeah, why?"
"I heard they got new stuff on there."
"Sure, go ahead." He got up and changed the TV channel to one of the game consoles. He picked up a controller and selected the Netflix option in black and red. I sat down on the couch and he flopped down next to me, wrapping and arm around my waist. I nuzzled into his torso.
"Hey, Maehara?"
"You do realise you can call me Hiroto."
I giggled. "Ok. But still, what day is it tomorrow?"
"Ummm, Wednesday, why?"
"I know I told everyone I'd be in school on Monday but, I feel like going in tomorrow. Is that OK?" I asked.
"That's fine with me. It means I see you more often. Win-win right?" We chuckled,
"Yeah,"
We both were quiet when the movie we picked started. And soon into the movie, I fell asleep. Maehara laughed quietly and stroked my head before falling asleep himself.

I woke with a pain in my neck as I got up from the floor. The second thing I noticed was that mine and Maehara's hand were interlocked. I got up, waking Soharu and Kotori then we got a bucket of ice water. Giggling quietly we poured all of it onto his body. He woke immediately and we started laughing uncontrollably. While I was temporarily dying I passed him a towel. Dripping wet he went into the bathroom to dry himself off.

By the time he came out his hair was a mess. And his clothes were slightly damp but they would dry before school starts.
"Come on!" I said, pulling him along.

"Isogai! I thought you weren't coming back until Monday!" Meg said to me.
"Well, I've been out of the hospital for a few days now. I wanted to come back." I said, smiling.

A gust of wind was felt as Koro-sensei came through the window. "Ah! Isogai-san. Welcome back."

At lunch Maehara took my hand and led me to our tree. "Hiroto, what's up?"
We sat down. "It was getting stuffy and I wanted to cuddle." I nodded and we shuffled closer.
He put his arms around me and I nuzzled my head into his torso. It's basically the same scenario as last night. And just like last night, I fell asleep.
