Yawn. I wake up at 9:00 not knowing what I'm going to do today. I pick up my phone on my nightstand, and noticed that I have 3 unread messages. All of them are from Alisha. Trying to apologize to me because she hadn't talk to me all of the first week of school.
I slide the message so that I could start writing her back. This is how the conversation went.

Me: I dont care!!! I kno u prob feel bad 4 me but still, hangin out wit Kameron wasn't so bad+ i made a new friend😏

Alisha: kool kool but 4 realz!! i never wanted to hurt u, it's just homework and Karina, u kno the gurl I hav been hangin out wit, im just really sorry for what i hav done

Me: u even had a small party yesterday on Friday and u didn't even invite me!! Wtf☹️

Alisha: that's cuz I could only invite a certain mount of people! 🙄

Me: u understand that i wanted to go! i am ur fucken best friend and this is how u treat me😡🤔

Alisha: o shut up!! Me and Karina r now closer then we hav ever been friends, and btw I am not fucken sorry about how I treated u!! Now that ur getting so upset cuz of one small thing😷💩

Me: Wdym 1 small thing!!! U didn't talk to me the whole week and plus ur the one who started all the drama!! I really thought we would actually hang out this week but noooooooo👎🏾

Alisha: *slaps ur face*👋🏽

Me: wtf *looks at u like ur nuts*🙀🖕🏾

Alisha: *walks away like nothing FUCKEN HAPPENED* 😼

Me: what ever BITCH

I didn't get a reply back.

So later that day, around 1:00, I was still in my pajamas, in my bed, watching Netflix. "Hey Patches, Coconut, I have a surprise for you", my dad yells from down stairs. I get up out of my bed and slowly went down stairs. "What is it?", I say as I go into the kitchen where my dad was. My sister was already there, anxious to hear the surprise. "We are moving", my dad said in a serious tone. I froze in shock. Sierra looked like she was about to cry.

"Why", I asked, very perplexed. "The rent is getting higher and there is only 3 of us", my dad said. "Where", Sierra asked quivering her lip. "We are moving closer to Welburn", my dad said smiling. "But don't worry Sierra you still get to go to Scottsfurd", my dad continued. "Now I will only drive Sierra, because Saturn, you're able to walk to school!", my dad said smiling wider.

Trust me, I am pretty excited to walk to and from school because I can stop by the bodega, to go pick up some pan dulce, for breakfast. But, now some kids who I don't like will start to know where I live, but I'm okay with that. "I have a another surprise for you two", my dad said digging in his pocket. My dad pulled out an iPhone 6s in the color gold. "For me?", I asked excitedly. "Yes", he said then continued saying, "And Sierra gets your old iPhone 5c".

Sierra smiled widely, then got up out of her chair to do her silly dance. My dad and I laughed.

I'm excited for change.
