Braelyn's POV
"How are things with you and Matt?" Allie asks one morning, out of nowhere.
"Uh, good, I guess. He's coming over soon to watch movies and hang out. You and Luke can join if you want." I say slowly.
"Yeah, sure. We don't have anything planned, as always."
I laugh. "We should all go out sometime and do something fun."
"Agreed."
"What would you wanna do? Just go to a restaurant or bowling or something?"
"Bowling! I love bowling."
"Okay." I laugh. "Bowling it is." My phone pings, text from Matt. "Matt's on his way, I should get ready."
I walk into the bathroom and brush my hair and teeth. I go to my room to change out of my pjs. I put on an old lacrosse tank, a pair of clean sweatpants and some fuzzy socks, then I go into the living room to get Netflix set up. Not long after, there's a knock on the door, so I get up and open it.
"Hey! Oh, it's just you." I roll my eyes and let Luke in.
"Expecting someone?" He asks, laughing.
"Matt's coming over."
"Oooh."
"Yeahh."
"Good! Allie and I haven't had any quality time with the kid."
"He's not a kid, he's the same age as us." I roll my eyes again. This guy makes me do that a lot.
"You know what I meant."
"Yeah, yeah."
"Bonding with Matthew."
"Hush."
"Why?"
"You're annoying."
"No I'm not." He pouts.
I glance out the window and see a car rolling up. "Matt's here. I'm going to greet him."
Luke makes a kissy face and laughs at me. I walk out of the house and bound down the steps, jumping into Matt's arms before he is even out of the car. He stumbles backwards, then catches his footing and squeezes me tightly. "Oh, hello." He laughs, then places me back on the ground.
"Hey." I smile. "Come in."
"Alright."
I lace my fingers with Matt's and lead him into the house. Allie has come out from her bedroom and is sitting in a chair adjacent to Luke. I sit next to Luke and pat the seat next to me for Matt. He sits and I lay back, my head in Matt's lap and my legs lounges across Luke. "Fuck outta here." Luke says, shoving my legs off. I curl them up and tuck my toes under Luke's legs, then grab the remote.
"What are we watching?" I ask, putting on Netflix.
"American Horror Story!" Allie exclaims.
"Have you ever seen it?" I ask everyone.
"I've seen the first episode." Matt shrugs. "But I like it. I say yes."
"Never seen it." Luke says. Allie nods in agreement.
"Sounds good." I say, putting on the show.
About halfway through, I sit up and lean against Matt. "I'm cold." I whisper.
"That's probably because you're wearing a tank top."
"Shh." I hit him on the arm.
"Come on, then." He opens his arms and I snuggle up to his chest. He rubs my arms a little, but it doesn't help.
"I'm freezing" I say, then stand.
"Where are you going?"
"I'm grabbing a blanket." I walk into my room and grab my big comforter, then go back to Matt and drape it over us. Matt pulls me back into him and kisses the side of my head, then settles in to watch the show.
When I get jumped, I bury my face into his chest. When the episode ends, I start the next one and cuddle against Matt again. "It's so graphic." I whisper.
"You watch The Walking Dead, Braelyn. It's really not that bad."
"Shut up." I laugh.
"Make me." He winks.
"Oh, really?" I ask and he just nods.
I cup his chin with one of my hands and pull his face to mine. Our lips connect and we kiss, our mouths moving in sync. The kiss gets heated and I straddle Matt's lap, the blanket tucked around us. I grind against his center, feeling his jeans stiffen. I bite his bottom lip, then pull back and release it. "I really like you." I whisper.
He laughs a little, his voice husky. "I really like you, too." He says, then buries his face into my neck.
Allie's POV
I had gotten out of my seat and climbed onto Luke's lap to be more comfortable. I figured Brae would notice and say something, as she always does, but nothing. When I look over at her, she's on Matt's lap, his face in her neck. "Luke, look." I whisper, jutting my chin out towards them.
"So?" He whispers back.
"Look at em! It's like they're fucking."
"They're just making out. We do that."
"She's definitely stroking."
"Who cares? Let them do them. What's your obsession."
I blink a couple times, not expecting that. "Uh. I dunno. I guess it's just cause she never has a guy around. It's different." I shrug.
"True." Luke laughs a little. "Just leave them be, girl. They're happy."
I sigh a little. "I suppose."
"Come here." He wraps his arms around me and I snuggle into his chest. Luke plants a kiss on my temple and sets his chin on the top of my head. I try to concentrate on the show, but in no time I fall asleep, feeling safe and secure in Luke's arms.
