The Prophecy

part 1

Lilac was born in Salem, Massachusetts and when she was only 5 months her father, Miles Black, mysteriously died in fire accidents or so said her Nana, her mother was an 18 year old who wasn't ready to be a mother and after Miles died she left her with Miles family and didn't look back. With all the loss Nana couldn't stay in Salem so they moved to North Virginia.

Lilac grew to be a happy child, Nana raised her like every other typical granddaughter is to be raised, until her 13th birthday where she came to know the truth about who and what she was, her Nana organised a party for her invited family friends and her friends from school. Lilac was so excited she couldn't wait for her party to begin but all day she had visions she couldn't avoid, at first when she awoke in the morning she thought it was a dream that just wouldn't leave her thoughts in peace but as the day went it got stronger and clear, and as it did a migraine would pass and her eyes would burn to the point of watering.

This happened every hour and lilac tried so hard to hide it from her Nana as she would postpone the whole party if she has said anything so lilac told herself she'd "suck it up" and tell Nana after the party.

At the party lilac wasn't enjoying herself as much as she wanted to, she kept on seeing a woman wearing very old fashioned clothing, the 1800's type of old, she kept calling her telling her to follow her but lilac stayed at her party and tried to ignore the mysterious lady only she could see.

At 10pm all of her friends left as it was very late, but most of the family members decided to stay the night and leave the following day, party had ended but the family decided to gather in the lounge and catch up mostly on adult boring stuff or so lilac thought, so she went in the kitchen to make some herbal tea for her headache and to relax herself but as she was making it the vision came again and the woman was walking away from her and out the back door.

Lilac was tired of the pain and decided to follow her, she led her to the back yard and she disappeared in to the shed, at first she thought to run back in to the house but curiosity got the best of her and she went in, there she saw something she wasn't expecting "nothing" she was gone and lilac was all alone in the dark shed, as she was turn to leave she saw something or was it someone, moving at the corner of her eye in the far dark side of the shed, she stood still and turned slowly and as she was faced with the moving figure in the dark she suddenly felt a gush of wind blow her hair and right in front of her she saw the figure coming close and closer.

The first thing she thought in her head is that she wants the lights to come on and so they did right at the thought of it

Lilac was shocked and surprised but when she looked back in front of her the figure was gone and she was alone again, she felt chills and fear coming over her and so she decided to head back into the house but the door to the shed closed shut and locked its self.

Lilac felt something behind her and she could hear foot steps, she wanted to scream but couldn't find her voice, after contemplating the fear within her she decided to turn around right there she was face to face with the woman she's been seeing the whole day and suddenly she standing in the middle of the shed wondering how she got there, she looks around suddenly there were people standing in a circle around her (males and females, all dressed in the 1800's clothing).

Suddenly one by one they started saying: "the prophecy has to be fulfilled, you have to fulfil the prophecy". They all started moving towards her reaching out their right hand to touch her while they kept repeating the same thing, with every touch on her skin she felt a burning sensation tearing through her skin and finally she found her voice and started to scream at the top of her lungs.

Nana was about to leave the kitchen looking for lilac when she heard a loud scream as did everybody else as they all ran pass Nana and out to the back yard, they heard her scream again and they all ran into the shed and as soon as they open the door she fell and was unconscious.
