The Prophecy

Lilac was walking alone and in no hurry to get to the dorms, suddenly she hears a deep voice calling "Miss Black" Lilac stopped and turned, she was face to face with the prince and only 3 feet away from her, she looked at him and tried to keep calm "yeah, can I help you?" she replied "do you have a moment" he asked

"Yeah sure" she said trying to be casual. He looked at her and said "uhm...my name is Aik Mickelson" Lilac nodes her head and replies "nice to meet you" then it was quiet for a while, she looked at him "was that all?" she asked, he frowned and cocked his head to the side, she looked at him dead in the eye "Lilac can I take you out for lunch tomorrow?" He finally spoke.

she looked at him shocked but she quickly hid it and put a straight face, he looked at her impatiently raising his eyebrows, she frowned and bit her lip, "I really can't read you right now you frowning and I don't understand" he said "uhm...do I have to answer now" she finally replied he sighed and looked at his feet like a 6 year old, "no it's cool, you can give me your number and I'll call you later on tonight" he said " no no no...I won't give you my number you could be a stalker for all I know " she said with her index finger up. He laughed and a second later she did too, they both laughed and after they calmed down he said "well tomorrow morning we have the same class again you can tell me then" she smiled "okay Mr Mickelson" she said "its Aik" he replied "okay Aik" he bowed his head and said "have a good afternoon Miss Black", "its Lilac...and the same to you" she said, he walked away and so did she.

Lilac couldn't stop thinking about the princes proposal to take her for lunch, she thought about what would her Nana think if she went out with the enemy or if should use this chance to get close to him for his birthday invite making a higher chance for her to be near him at his vulnerable time, and there she had made up her mind to let the prince get close to her and fall for her trap.

Lilac freshened up and went to her bed to study, after an hour of studying she decided to take a break and make some food, she thought about her plan more, she thought about seeming cheap and easy so she started going back and forth about it thinking if she should go ahead or stall a little bit.

Lilac has never been on a date nor has she ever been asked out, boys at her high school said she was scary, and now she was asked by her enemy, a man she has to kill, a man deep down she hates.

Lilac was confused laying on her bed then Amara rush's in throwing her bag on the bed and running to the toilet, seconds later she comes out, Lilac thought to ask her for help but was hesitant, Amara started talking about her day with her boyfriend, Lilac tried to listen but her own confusion was clouding her focus Lilac was looking out of space and not paying attention to Amara.

"Earth to Lilac, hello!" Amara snapped her fingers in front of her face, Lilac looked at her and without any thought she blurted "Aik asked me out for lunch tomorrow and I don't know if I should go" Lilac looked at Amara with wide questioning eyes as if waiting for Amara to give her the answer.
