TRY AGAIN pt.3

AN: HERE YOU GO... HONESTLY, I'M EXCITED!!! And definitely sleepy!

"Camila come in..." Robert said and the brunette enter the office of their chief journalist.

"Hey, good morning." Camila responded while she was walking towards her boss.

"Sit down, I've got something to discuss to you."

Camila sat down on the chair in front of her boss and lift a notebook and pen for her to take notes.

She looked at her boss and saw a huge smile. She smiled back and looked down on her notebook to find a blank page to write. When she found a piece of paper, she put a date on the top then her boss spoke.

"I want you to make a documentary film of Lauren Jauregui's life outside the court." He said excitedly and Camila drop her pen as her hands tremble a bit. Her mouth dried and she didn't respond to her boss.

"I think it will be a great idea and promotion since the team make it on the second round of playoffs and in team history it is the first time. Lauren is the key to the team's success and she's the face of the franchise. People looked up to her specially the young kids." Robert explained and Camila just nodded.

"I'm really excited about this... please make it magical."

"I'll do what I can do." Camila responded and stood up from her chair to go out of the office.

When she was outside of the room, Camila sighed and walk back on her station. It had been five months since Lauren and her fateful night. She hadn't tell anyone on what really happened that night not even Dinah. She saw Lauren a couple more times after that but they never talked at all. Camila was more than happy to have a relationship like that with Lauren rather than arguing with her. Camila knew now that Lauren can't forgave her on what happened 10 years ago and that she should move on now.

But the problem is that Camila can't. It's not that she didn't try, she did, but still the green eyed girl is the only one that hold her heart. She wasn't expecting the same with Lauren, especially that the athlete was rumored to be dating a hot model from Los Angeles. Lauren hadn't really talked about it but there were photos of them being sweet on each other. Camila knew that she shouldn't believe everything that was on the internet but she can't help to feel a little bit jealous.

Camila taps her pen on her desk until she found a way on how to talk to Lauren without remembering the night that Lauren just took advantage of her. She sighed exaggeratedly and leaned her head on her forearm that was place on her desk.

Her phone went off and she lazily lifts her head to look at it. Her phone vibrates on her table and she read and smile.

'Mila, let's go grab lunch.'

'Sure DJ, where?' Camila replied.

'On the town center, there's a restaurant that serves really great hot wings.'

"Hot wings?"

'Yeah, Normani suggested it. The girls will be there.'

Dinah replied and Camila's heart sank upon reading it. She knew Lauren will be there and she wasn't prepared at all to meet her that day. But in the hindsight it is the best time for Camila to ask Lauren for the documentary since the girls will be there and that Lauren can't say no to her. Camila thought about it before she finally replied.

'Okay... count me in.'

It was a 10 minute drive and now Camila was standing on the door and was about to enter when she heard her name being called. She look behind her and saw Dinah waving at her. They briefly hugged each other prior to entering the restaurant. They saw Ally and Normani seated on the right side booth near the glass window.
