Taylor's P.O.V

I went back to my hotel room after what happened and just thought. I thought about everything I said, every move I've made, and Jess has EVERY single right to hate me. Of course I wish I could make it better, but I don't know what to do anymore, I'm so sad, I'm not even in the mood to write a song, yeah. That's sad.

Will isn't worth this, he really isn't. I would MUCH rather have Jess as a friend then Will as a boyfriend. He obviously isn't worth this trouble. I have to call him and end this. I have my priorities set now, get Jess' friendship back.

I decided to call him, but I heard a guitar coming from out in the lobby? What the heck? I looked at the clock and it read six pm. Wow, I've been thinking for awhile I guess.

I peeked out my door and saw a group of kids, maybe ages four to six, and I saw a medium height girl with brown hair sitting on a chair holding a black guitar.

"Have you guys ever lost someone that meant a lot to you? But felt like somehow, they were still with you?"

"Huh?" One of the little kids shouted at the girl

"Well this is a song that describes that perfectly."

She started strumming her guitar, and the song.. Why did it sound so familiar..

"DROPS OF JUPITER!" I accidentally said out loud, then hid my face.

A few of the little kids looked over to where I was farther down the hallway, but they didn't say anything.

This girl started singing, and she was amazing, flawless I could even say.

"Tell me, did you fall for a shooting star? One without a permanent scar," and she looked up from her guitar and looked at me down the hallway. It was Jess.

"and did you miss me while you were looking for yourself out there?" She sang staring directly at me. I nodded, I already missed her.

A look for sorrow flooded over her face, and I saw her eyes glisten from tears that started to fill them.

I closed my hotel room door and started walking towards this group of kids while Jess finished up her song.

She looked me straight in the eyes, and I looked back.

"And did you finally get the chance

To dance along the light of day?

And did you fall for a shooting star?

Fall for a shooting star?

And now you're lonely looking for yourself out there."

The kids clapped and I saw one of the parents had tears in their eyes. She took her guitar strap off and went over to her.

"You're amazing."

She blushed, "I'm really not." She said modestly, the lady dabbed her tears,

"Why are you crying?" Jess said putting on of her hands on the lady's shoulder.

"Your speech in the beginning, reminded me of when I lost a good friend of mine," Jess looked at her feet, "She talked behind my back, and when she apologized, I didn't accept, but now I wish I did."

"I can honestly say, I know exactly how you feel."

"You have?"

"Yes, I have felt that pain you are feeling right now in the last twenty-four hours, it sucks."

"I'm sorry.." They hugged then she walked away and went into the ladies room.

Jess ran her fingers through her hair, and rubbed her eyes with her hands. I can't tell if she was wiping away tears, or what. She looked at her phone and then started typing something, looked at it for a minute, then put her phone back away.
