Bloody Reaper: Oh, is this the chapter where I am introduced?

Me: Yup. I think you'll like this, Lune. You're a badass in this chapter.

Bloody Reaper: Oh dearest, aren't I always?

Red Wolf: *Ducks head into doorway* Well, there's that time that you tripped over your scythe, the time that you accidentally broke the main staircase by falling through it from five stories up, the time that you-

Bloody Reaper: *Raises a hand to silence Red Wolf, a tint of red on her face as she does so* Yes, little bird, I'm sure the nice people get the idea. Start the chapter now, Lilith.

Me: But-

Bloody Reaper: START THE SARDING* CHAPTER!

Me: Yes Ma'm. I do NOT own any characters that are mentioned from games/tv shows/movies/animes. I DO own the idea of the characters of Verde and others, but not the original character format. Some, however, I totally own, such as Amelia Strings and many others.

*(SARDING) A medieval curse word. Basically means 'Fuck'.

(This is Mari talking.)
----------------------------------------------

Verde paced herself as she went down the hall, passing many doors as she went. One done in cream and black (Gerald Hals; The Inquisitor), another in white and violet (Aria; Day of Ruin), and many others (Kylia Day; Vanity, Hela Yule; Misery Parade, Ethan Fall; Pitfall, Dalha Price; Black Face). The other residence of the manor had crowded the hall making it harder to walk freely without bumping into someone. A sudden shove at her shoulder made her turn her head, her radioactive colored eyes connecting with pupiless green. The other 'pasta's eyes were narrowed, and her thin lips were pursed, making her bony cheekbones stand out all the more. Verde smiled at the 4;9 female and reached out a hand to pat at the girl's spiked hair, receiving a angry huff in response.

"Hey, Mari. Nice to see you, sweetling." The glare in the other's neon eyes worsened, making Verde wince. Mari's hands came up to make different signs, so quickly that Verde almost missed it. She sighed. "No, Mari, I did not help Arlien cause the explosion. I was walking through this very hall. Cross my heart and hope to rot."

("Why do I really, really doubt that, Harika?")

"'Cause you actually have a brain, 'Liza Jane." Another voice answered for Verde, the female creature's voice rumbling through the closest people chests in it's depth. Both pasta's turned to see a towering 6;2 creature made of dripping black tar, a fang full smile one of her only real features. Red, thigh high combat boot with purple laces were her... oddest feature. This terrifying, horrible (and fashion sense oblivious) creature was the one they called SoulRipper.

"Ah, Rippy, Rip, The Rippy-Tippy Tip Top. Nice to see you." SoulRipper's fanged mouth curled up a few inches, back incisors making themselves known. "How exactly are you here, and not being chewed out?"

"Hmm? Oh, you mean that fiasco with Arlien! No, no. I'm much too old to be 'chewed out', as you put it." Mari's left eyebrow rose in slight disbelief, lips curving into a frown.

("Lady Lune is normally not very light with her punishments, nor does she let things go without a fight. How did you pull that extraordinary act off?")

"I simply snuck away while she was blowing her top at Arlien. Not that hard to do, Muerte." Mari opened her raised her left hand, as if she was about to start furiously scolding SoulRipper, when another voice, this one even more resonant than SoulRipper's deep drawl, interrupted. It was only then that Verde noticed that the foyer of the manor was eerily quiet, the others in the vicinity having gone silent.

"Are you implying that my skills have dulled, Laytor? Or simply that you have found some way to magically grow better at running away in the last few hours?" SoulRipper froze, fanged mouth falling open, and the rest of her body seizing up in surprise.

"Fuck..." The deep voice chuckled and SoulRipper turned to face her doom.

"'Fuck' is correct, Laytor."
