Chapter 4.5 : Suspects

Qrstn's POV

*knock knock knock*

"Come in!" sabi ko at bumukas yung pinto

Isang lalaki.....

"You are?" tanong ko pero tuloy tuloy lang siya papunta sa loob ng office ko

"I said who are you?!" irita ko nang tanong pero di parin siya sumasagot at tuloy tuloy umupo sa chair sa harap ng desk ko

"Sasagot ka o ipapatawag ko na yung mga guards?!"

pinatong niya yung dalawa niyang paa sa desk ko. WTH?!

"GUAR--" tatawagin ko na yung guards ng bigla siyang nagsalita kaya napatigil ako

"I am the one and only Cydrx Kym M. Avilla" so? ano ngayon? as if kilala ko -____-

"I can't remember having an appointment with you Mr. Avilla."

"Well, I do Ms. Montenegro"

magsasalita na sana ako pero nagsalita ulit siya

"I am the private investigator you asked from Mr. Chan. I am one of the best investigators here in the Philippines and I am here to help you."

Yabang -.-

so siya pala yung sinasabi ni Mr.Chan na magaling na private investigator. Pero bakit parang ang bata niya?

"Are you sure you're a private investigator?"

"Hahahahahahahaha"

Oh ano bang nakakatawa sa tanong ko? para tong baliw bigla biglang tatawa. Kulang nalang umikot-ikot na siya sa sahig sa kakatawa -____-

"There's nothing funny in my question!"

"Hahaha. Of course I am! Iniisip mo siguro na dahil bata pa ako, I am not capable of investigating stuffs?"

"H-hindi noh!" pagdedeny ko

"Masyado kang obvious. Hahaha. Anyway, bata pa ko kasi naaaccelerate ako palagi. Sabi nila masyado daw advance ang mga alam ko at pang proffesional na ang skills ko kaya maaga ako nakagraduate"

ahhhh kaya pala

"O-okay. So let's start?" sabi ko

"Sure! Matagal-tagal naring wala akong iniimbestigahan. Masaya to!"

"Here's the case." sabay abot ko ng isang file na kung saan nakalagay yung lahat ng info kay daddy.

Habang nagbabasa siya tinititigan ko lang siya. Infairness gwapo siya..... kaya lang mayabang. Ilang taon na kaya siya? May girlfriend na-

naputol ang pagdedaydream ko ng bigla siyang tumingin sakin kaya iniwas ko naman tingin ko.

"Ms. Montenegro, kanina pa kita tinatanong."

Weh? Grabe nakakahiya T____T

"Ha?! ah eh pwede paki ulit? Hindii ko kasi narinig"

"Busy ka kasi kakatitig sakin. Nagwagwapuhan ka sakin no?"

"ASA! Ang pangit pangit mo kaya! Che!" tapos tumingin na ko sa may desk ko at kunwaring magccheck ng files

"Bawal magsinungaling. Bad yan" di ko nalang pinansin kung ano ano pinagsasabi niya

"Anyway, let's go back to my question. According to what's stated here, the cause of your father's death is fire. So why would you like me to investigate it? "

"As you know, We are an influential family specially in business. My father has a lot of rivals that wants to bring down our company. Speaking of rivals, he has this rival that approached me a week after his death and proposed a business partnership. Part of me wants to ignore her proposal but then she said that she and my father have already discussed it with each other and she just needs an answer."

"So you suspect that the rival has something to do with the fire?" bigla niyang singit sa explanation ko

"Excactly! Another is my uncle. He has been trying to help me managing this company. I think that he wants to use me in leading this company then eventually he'll get it from me. When my father is still alive, I know that uncle is mad at my father because daddy was the one who inheritted the company from grandpa."

"So you suspect again that your uncle has something to do with the fire?" singit niya nanaman. Isa nalang masusuntok ko na to! Di ako pinapatapos eh!

"Again yes! Finally, There is this another person I suspe-"

"Who?"

"PWEDE BA HINDI PA KO TAPOS EH SISINGIT SINGIT KA BIGLA! KALMA PWEDE?!" at salamat naman tumahimik siya

"Secretary Sally. I know she is not that kind of person who just kills someone. My father trusts her so much that's why I also trusts her. But then only few weeks have passed and I felt that dad's death was just a mere accident for her. I did not see her sad when she knew what happened to dad! And another I heard Secretary Sally and my uncle talking with each other about me and the company. How come they become close that fast? "

"You might have given me informations but this might not make the investigation process easier because your evidences are weak. But I promise to do my best. Goodbye and nice meeting you Ms. Montenegro " sabay offer niya ng kamay para makipagshake hands

"T-thank you for listening Mr. Avilla" at nakipag shake hands na ko then lumabas na siya

"Matutulungan niya kaya ako?"
