Lost & Found
In the darkness of the stormy night, the rain poured heavy drops that scarred your skin as the icy temperatures make your body ache in agony. As the seas and tides crashed against the rocks and a large pirate ships boat. Slowly, it docked itself be the village as a large and dark figure jumped off from the ship. In a dark cloak that hid the stranger as it wavered with the strong and powerful winds of the frightening storm. The dark, stranger held a large basket within it's hands that was guarded with their life and pride. The stranger ran with the basket across the docks and into the sleeping, soundless town. Till, the stranger came up to a lamppost that was the only one that managed to keep a flickering, bright light on. Slowly, the stranger placed down the basket under the lamppost as it was held under a spotlight. For a moment the stranger admired the basket then rose up and dashed into the darkness without a trace.. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
"Aw, man this storm!" The young male cried as he held this straw hat as he hung onto his bag that was held on his back. The raven haired, dark male ran through the town in a rush as the wind and terrible weather smacked him right in the face. He was already tied out as the horrid storm was beginning to make his strong body start to turn fragile and tremble in ache. He was rushing to get home to his beloved partner after his long voyage for six months. Dying to see her just so he can spend and cherish every last moment and minute with his love. Before, he would go out to sea forever to achieve his desperate dream. Without a single stop, he suddenly heard a sudden cry. He stopped for a moment as his ears lightly twitched, he carefully listened. Getting drenched even more by the heavy and hard rain, again he heard another cry.
"A baby's cry?" Again, his legs carried him where the crying was coming from. As he came across a bright, flickering lamppost with a large basket just placed underneath it. Quickly, he made his way up to the basket as he still kept his tight grip upon his bag and straw hat upon his head. The poor heavy rain drenched the basket and it's blanket that covered the basket for protection. Carefully, with curiosity the young male took a hand off his straw hat and gently pulled away the blanket. Only to let his dark eyes, widen in astonishment as he stared at the sight of a beautiful baby. Again the baby softly, cried out in need for someone. The male took his hand over the baby as the baby's small and fragile hand gripped onto the large warm fingers of the males. While, a sudden rush of warmth ran through his body that made him lightly smile.
"Your coming home with me" Quickly, he took a moment and then pulled away and pulled the blanket back into place and picked up the basket within his strong embrace. As he then ran back to his home, he quietly shut the door and locked it behind him as he made his way into the living room. He didn't expect his partner to be awake, since he knew that she didn't know he was coming back so soon. Softly, he placed the basket down onto the sofa as he sat besides it and pulled back the drenched blanket. As he sweetly, admired the abandoned baby he had found and without taking his eyes off the baby. He carefully, lifted the baby out from its basket and cradled it within his arms as a large smile grew on his face, he couldn't help but blush. The male has always wished to have a child of his own and this was his first experience with one. He was just ecstatic, he's never felt so happy before. Other than the time, he had first met his lover that is now his sweet partner that's forever his. Feeling such happiness his large heart warmed as a tear started to grow within his eye. He softly, wiped it away as he unravelled the blanket that was tightly wrapped around the fragile baby. His eyes grew wide as he saw a long and dark, black tail that had ended with a heart-shaped tip came out from under the blanket. Yet, apart from shock and fear the male just laughed aloud as he cradled the baby closer to his body.
"What a baby!" Again, he chuckled to himself as he peered down at the sweet child.
"Your so beautiful" A tear streamed down his cheek as he admired the baby girl that he couldn't take his eyes off of. Small and fragile, she was so weak up against the dark world. The baby girl wore a sweet, white vintage, frilly dress that made her wavy pink and black mixed hair stand out along with her pale, milky skin. As she had bright, red eyes that flashed with both beauty and fear with sweet long, voluminous lashes and a small mole under her right eye. As her golden earrings kept lightly, ringing within the males ears in pleasure (Similar to Zoro's earrings)
The male was then interrupted as he heard a soft, chuckle just behind his back. Instantly, he quickly turned to see his stunning partner that was stood in the doorway. She was extremely, slender, tall and elegant to the eye as she had extremely short, wavy strawberry-blonde hair. That had a pink hibiscus flower in her hair on the left side of her head, and had vague freckles upon her face. As she wore a long, dressing gown that reached down to her very feet that wrapped around her slender figure.Slowly, she strolled her way over towards her partner as he peered his head back down at the baby girl. She softly, placed a hand upon his shoulder as her eyes gleamed to see the sweet baby.
"She's beautiful" The male turned his head up to her as he widely grinned.
"Isn't she" He then turned back at the girl as he then saw a small envelop that was hidden within the basket. His partner knew what to do and took a seat besides the basket in front of him as she took the envelop.
"I didn't know you were coming back so soon" She gently, opened up the envelop and pulled out a letter.
"Yeah, I wanted to surprise you. Then in some cases, I just as well surprised myself" The male lightly, chuckled as he and his partner then turned their heads down at the baby girl. Who just as well, lightly giggled as she grinned like an angel. While, they both just laughed in delight as the woman then quickly red the letter.
"What does it say?" The male, softly asked as he slowly leaned in. The woman then peered up and stared down at the baby girl.
"We have to keep her" The males, eyes grew wide in shock.
"What?! You mean, we can really keep her?!" The woman lightly nodded her head with a soft smile as her eyes trailed back to the letter that she placed upon her lap.
"Yes, we've always wanted a child and this could be our first experience with one. In till, we get to have our own someday. . ." The woman held her arms out so she could take the baby into her own arms and cradle her. The male, got the signal and have up the baby girl to his partner just for her to also hold.
"Besides, she's beautiful and we cannot just turn away from her. This is her home now"

I hope you fans and readers all enjoyed this short One Shot for One Piece. This was a short chapter to another One Piece Fan-Fiction story I was planning to write for. However, instead it went to scrap apart from this chapter that I couldn't help, but enjoy reading myself that I wanted many other fans and readers to read for themselves.
Thank You, 1NakedUnicorn.
