Aiyana POV

I woke up with headache from last night. Dominic and I were hanging out since then. It's like I never wanted that day to last. But, of course, nothing happened. I opened my window, and realized that it was Saturday. So, yes. I have to stay here... with him. You know what I mean by him.

I went inside my bathroom and freshen myself up. After I brushed my teeth, and washed my face, and I tied my hair to a messy bun. Then, I went down to cook breakfast.

As soon as I went down, I searched for Luke immediately. Where is he anyway? Wait. Why do I care if he's missing? Until, I felt the urge to just eat a meat sandwich, so I did. I took my phone out, and checked my messages. It was a text from Luke, himself. It says...

"sorry if i wasn't able to wake you up.. well, I know you wouldn't mind as well.. if you're finding me, which is sort of impossible, I'm at school. i'm doing some paper works here.. if you're reading this right now, I want u to eat a healthy breakfast :) dominic told me everything tho.. i'm sorry I wasn't there to help u.. i hope you weren't mad at me :) and i hope you're ok."

My brows suddenly furrowed. Why is he being so concerned? What did he eat for breakfast, that made him like this? I just shook the thought away from my head. Well, at least I'm alone this day. This is ending up to be so boring...

Until, my phone rang. I looked at the name of the caller, and realized it was Dominic. An automatic smile formed on my face. Well, he's indeed my ultimate crush. I answered it immediately,

"Hi. Good morning, beautiful." He said on the other line, that made me giggle.

"If this is your way to make me call you handsome, it's not gonna work." I joked. He then also laughed.

"Okay, fine. So, what are you doing?" ~Luke.

"Nothing. Actually I'm so bored. Hey, wanna hangout again later?" I offered. Because, it seems like years since I saw him.

"I'd love to... but I guess, I have to decline your offer for now... You see---" He suddenly stopped what he was saying, when a voice in his background screamed, "Mr. Aragon, shut your phone and do your work!"

Wait. This voice was so familiar. It's... Luke? Wait. They were together right now in school?

"Was that Sir Luke in the background?" I asked. Until, the call ended. I think he's in a rush. Oh well, I can't blame him though.

"Who was that? Who are you talking to?" Luke asked angrily, yet it's obvious that he has a clue who Dominic was on the phone with. Dominic bowed down,

"J-Just a... friend, sir." He answered briefly, and held the mop, and continued his work. Luke made him clean three classrooms, as an extra credit. Since Dominic got a very low score in Mathematics.

"Don't focus in those things, Mr. Aragon. Do your job! Hindi 'yung nasa iba 'yang atensyon mo! Go! Ayusin mo 'yan. I'll get back to you later." Luke said angrily, and left the classroom.

God knows why Luke made Dominic to do these things. Well, it is sort of weird if we think that he's doing this for revenge. A teacher having revenge towards his student? 

When Luke got in his office, he flipped his laptop open, and searched for something. He needs help for a particular issue, and he thought that even Google, can't help him in any way possible. He has to move on, he had to. But...

... he can't.

Yes. He's falling for Yana, his student, also his wife. He has every reason to tell her, but he realized he shouldn't. He's an educator. He became her husband for their companies, and it ends there. He understands that she's in love with another guy, and he knows it's not him.

"Mamahalin nalang kita... from afar." He whispered gently, with crack in his voice. It hurts, but he has to control his feelings. It's not right, and it's not appropriate. Well, just like in Math, there are things that 'cannot be'.

Without him noticing, Dominic was there. He heard what Luke said, which made him think certain stuff. He knew it! Luke is falling for her... After that, Dominic ran away. 

He shouldn't tell this to Yana, or else things will become very complicated.

It was 4 in the afternoon, and he thought that he should go home. So, after a few minutes he arrived. Luke went inside their house, and there he saw Yana peacefully sleeping on the couch. She looked so peaceful, and that Luke found her angelic.

He let out a deep sigh, and thought about something. He stayed there from the door frame, and stared at her for so long. It seems like he never wanted to leave, and to stop looking at her. Every detail of her face is perfect, too bad it'll not work like that.

After a few minutes, Yana suddenly moved; meaning she's starting to wake up. She gently opened her eyes, and saw Luke standing before her; few feet away. Yana sat down properly, and scratched her eyes.

"Oh. You're back..."

Luke gulped, and just pulled a small smile. He then walked to the counter, and tried to act cool. Well, he kinda believes that Yana treats him as a friend as well.

"So, did you and Dominic date?" He asked, making Yana feel confused. She can't believe that Luke would ask her such a thing. It sounds like nonsense, but she was curious why would Luke ask that. Is he being sarcastic?

"No. But yesterday was amazing." Yana answered, making Luke gulp again. He tried to keep the conversation going, but he doesn't like the topic. He's afraid to ask this, but he guess it'll not hurt too much, since he knows the answer is 'yes'.

"So, do you like him?" He asked, with knees shaking. Yana smiled widely, and...

"Don't worry, I don't like him...." Luke sighed in relief, but... 

"... because I'm in love with him." Luke's heart then shattered into millions of pieces. It hurts... He knows that it's great that Yana is not falling for him, it's best if she falls for another man. Even if it hurts, he has to handle his feelings.

"Great." He briefly commented, and walked away to his room. He locked the door when he got in, so Yana was a bit confused. But, she just shrugged and opened the television.

"...Kung alam mo lang kung gaano kita kamahal... kaso, bawal." Luke whispered. (p.s linya ko ulit to!!! ~jeanellediana)
