Erin's pov

Damn first day back and already got a big case, a little boy was kidnapped yesterday walking home from school, this hit home for Jay because his Ex Girlfriend Ally's brother Ben Carson was kidnapped ,raped, and murder by the next door neighbor.

"I want  Ruzek and Antonio to go talk to the family, Lindsay and Halstead go back to the station and- "Voight said as Halstead cut him off

"With all due respect sir I think I might know who it is can I please take Lindsay to talk to this one family this happened to before" Halstead ask as I looked confused at him

"Sure go see what you can find out" Voight said eyeing me a 'watch him kid' kinda look and I nod

"So who are we going to talk to " I asked as we walked away even though I already think I know who we are going to talk to.

"The Carson's because this sounds a lot like what happened to Ben and I don't want this to happen to another kid and family " Jay said

"Ok" I said . 10 minutes later we arrived at there house and Jay looked nervous so I walked over and squeezed his hand to reassure him that he could do this. He gave me a kiss and we walked to the door hand in hand as he knocked on the door I squeezed his hand again as the door opened he let go of my hand and hugged the woman who opened the door.

"God Jay it's been to long since we seen you , how have you been?" Mrs.Carson asked

"Good I've been great actually I have a girlfriend and she is actually here with me her name is Erin and she is my partner at the 21st " he says and steps out of the way and revealed me from behind him.

"Hi Erin I'm Destiny Carson , you can call me Destiny " she said to me sticking out her hand and I take her hand and shake it

"Hi I'm Erin Lindsay , Jay talks very highly about you and your husband and how nice you are to him and treat him like family" I said

"Yeah well he knows he's family and anyone who's with Jay is considered family too" she smiled

"Sorry to break up the happy moment but can we come in and talk to you about something?" Jay says

"Sure come in what do you what to know ?" She questioned

"Well I think that Lonnie is back to his old habits again another boy went missing yesterday and we were wondering if you've seen him lately " he said cautiously not trying to talk about what happened to Ben anymore then he wants to.

"No I haven't seen him since that night " she said as Jay closed his eyes trying to pretend that it never happened and then I grab his hand and hold it tight trying to make sure he knows I'm always here for him no matter what.

Jays pov

This was such a hard topic to talk about because when I do I relive ever moment of what happened that night.

Erin's pov

All of a sudden I see a blonde girl about 26 walking down the stairs in a red cami and black leggings and she was beautiful then I realized who she was , it was Ally. Jays Ex and all I could think was 'woah she's more pretty than I expected , how the hell could I compete with that' I looked down at the ground and kept my head down because I don't know what I felt ashamed maybe I don't know I know I just can't compete with that.

"Hey mom do you know where the.... Jay?"Ally said surprised to see him

"Hey Ally how's Phoenix?" He asked

"It's good.. Who's ?"She sounded jealous while crossing her arms

"Ally this is my girlfriend and partner at the 21st Erin Lindsay , Er this is Ally my ex/friend "Jay said as Ally walked towards us as I stuck my hand out but she didn't take it so I put it down.
