Holly's POV
When Darling saved me I certainly knew that u was definitely not straight. It was official. I was in love with her. But what was I gonna tell the secret admirer? I guess I should just show up at the date and tell them smoothly. To be honest, though, I can't imagine who the secret admirer could be. I walked into my room to get ready. I put on a lavender blouse with a dark pink skirt. I brushed my hair, which took up most of my time, so I only touched up the makeup I already had on. I stepped out the door and began walking to the date place. It was just outside of campus, so it had to be a student or a villager, right?
Before me a saw a cute little set up, a white table with two mix-matched chairs. The person who asked me there was no where to be seen. I cautiously sat down, being very careful invade this was a trap. Out of the corner of my eye I noticed a blue figure. My eyes made it out a little to see a pretty, cream skin tone, and blonde hair. The person, who was in the shadows, stepped out. A nice smile and a light blush was on her face. My jaw dropped. "D-Darling?" I found myself asking. The beauty that stood before me was wearing a beautiful silk, light blue dress and had on a sliver necklace. Darling blushed harder. My cheeks were hot. "Hi." She said in her beautiful voice. "Um... So I-. Uh...Never mind. I hope you don't mind the pathetic set up I just-" I heard another voice.
"Hey! I worked hard!" A familiar voice said. That specific voice belonged to my sister. Great.
"Poppy! Shut up! Oops." Another voice said. Rosabella. So apparently we were being watched making a fool of ourselves. The bush started moving a lot. Rosabella was probably attacking my sister, but I didn't really care.
"Ok. We know you're here. You might as well come out." I said. Their heads instantly popped up. I rolled my eyes. Darling pulled Rossbella aside. They started yelling at each other. A lot. Screaming. I tried to not listen to what they were saying but eventually I tuned in.
"It's not my fault!" Rosabella said.
"Yes it is! You and Poppy basically ruined this! You are always verging in in this stuff!"
"B- Barging in?! I was just watching quietly! I am you're friend and I just want to help! I was the one that helped you get this date! I set the notes up so you should be thankful!"
"Wait... What?" I asked. I'm sure I didn't hear right.
Rosabella stared at me. "Ugg! See! This is what I mean! You are always messing up and ruining things! I hate you! Leave! I don't wanna see you anymore!" Rosabella gasped. A tear rolled down her angry face.
"Fine! Fine I'll go! Oh, and the feeling mutureal! With friend like you, who needs enemies!?" She shouted. I heard a growl in her throat. Her beast side. Poppy and I gasped. No one ever heard that. Rosabella covered her mouth. She glared at Darling. "Bye. And when you get home, you'll have a different roommate." She said. She stormed off. Darling looked a little sad, but noticed me looking at her and lost her expression. "Um... So..." I said. "Should we continue or..." I didn't want to say the rest. She nodded. "Hehe. Well, it can't get anymore awkward, so let's go for it." I smiled. We sat down. But now Poppy had left and it was just us. We talked bout a lot of things. Darling revealed she wanted to be more like me, not a knight. She was acttually cursed to wear the armor and the armor moved itself. She wasn't actually good at sword fighting at all, which I found very interesting, but I don't think anyone else knew what she was telling me, which made me feel good. After a while, the sky turned pink and orange. We watched the sun slowly set. The sky turned a magnificent blue, and the Stars twinkled bright. Darling looked at me. Her face got closer. I felt me self leaning in as well, and I felt our lips collide. Her lips were warm and smooth. She put a hand on my waist and one on my shoulder. I wrapped my arms around her neck. This was better than a dream. If it was, I wasn't waking up anytime soon.
