You, Simon and The Sidemen

So Close But So Far

You sat there as Zoe droned on and on about the livestream and all the ideas. But you just sat zoned out in your own world in your barely conscious mind.

"Y/N! Are you listening!" Zoe barked. Your eyes flicked up to look directly at her and she sighed. "Y/N you need to concentrate, this is your living were talking about!". You smiled, looking pretty embarrassed and manged to mumble a "I'm sorry" and continued to contribute ideas. You threw ideas back and forth for half hour till Zoe squealed. "What you squealing about" you laughed, blocking your ears jokingly. "Simon can feature in it! The viewers will love it and so would you! And we already have so many shippers for Y/N and Simon, there might aswell be a fan club! I bet they've planned your wedding! Oops I'm rambling....sorry" she trailed off, her cheeks bright red. But you just sat cross legged on the floor shocked. You and Simon doing a livestream? The idea was scary but brilliant.

"I like it!" You smiled, boosting Zoes  confidence as she looked up at you and smiled.

"Really?!"

"Yeah really ill tweet him!" You laughed, picking up your phone and opening your Twitter. Pulling up the tweet bar, you began to think of a witty tweet to persuade Simon to do a video. And then it came to you, like Zoe said your fans were going mad shipping. So what if you used your fans for your advantage!

You grinned to yourself, and started writing out the tweet:
"So I'm gonna live stream while we're at Somerset! Who do you want me to try and feature with!? @miniminter @thesidemen @Zoella @pointlessblog"
You press tweet and put your phone down. Zoe's phone lit up, she snatched it up within a second, read the tweet and smiled. "Well played Y/N" she laughed, locking her phone and placing it in between her legs.

"I do try" You grinned. You pulled yourself off the floor and stretched your arms, lifting them up to the roof and then back down. "Only 3 more days to go ZoZo!" You yawned. Leaning down to pick your phone off the floor, Zoe started to laugh. Standing back up straight you raise a eyebrow. "What's so funny" you questioned. She turns around her phone to show you a tweet....from the sidemen!
"Can guarantee that your gonna be streaming with us!! What about a truth or dare video?! Come on @Y/Y/N"

You laugh, shaking your head. You say goodnight to Zoe and head towards your room, ignore Zoe's comments about you and Simon. You get to your bedroom door and as you reach for the handle your phone buzzes. But it wasn't the usual one buzz as if to say you had a notification, it was multiple. You pull your phone out your pocket as you open your bedroom door to see a FaceTime call....from a number you didn't have saved. You swipe to answer, and as the FaceTime loads you hear a familiar voice.

It couldn't be. Then his face pops up on your phone. It's Simon! But not just him, the rest of the sidemen could be seen in the background. You squeal and drop your phone in shock, hearing the boys laugh as the phone falls to the floor. Pulling yourself together in a quick couple of seconds, you pick the phone up to see all the boys grinning.

"Well that was funny" you could hear Ethan laugh.
"Shut up Ethan!" Simon chuckles, your face goes bright red.
"How did you even get my number?" You exclaimed, making your way to the bed.
"We have connections!" Laughs Harry.
Your mind goes straight to Zoe. Damn her.
"We didn't get a response for our tweet" simon says calmly. You start to smile "Fine but it's extreme truth or dare! I want forfeits!"
You hear the boys making all sorts of noises, making you laugh even more.

The FaceTime lasted for another couple of hours, throwing back and forth ideas for the live-stream, taking the mick out of all of the boys, daydreaming about Simon. That when you finally say goodnight it's 3 in the morning. You say your goodbyes, and smile to yourself, putting your phone on charge and rolling over to face the wall. You were just on the phone with the sidemen. Simon has called you. And you couldn't be happier!
