*Hey guys >u< First fanfic here, oh god. Give me a hand if you think I need it? well here goes/).(\...*

*Kenadee's POV*

'Oh god, what if I put something in that they won't like?' I thought to myself. I reread my application over and over. I included everything that I should have, my name, age, current job, all that good stuff.

Well, it wasn't necessarily "good". My name is Kenadee Knight - although my stage name is KenadeeKilljoy -, I'm 23 years old and I'm a dancer. By dancer, I mean a stripper at an alternative strip club in West Yorkshire.

I didn't necessarily like my job, or the drunken, over aged men that usually come with it, but alongside my second job of waitressing, it was enough to pay the bills.

See, I didn't leave school with any decent grades - I didn't even get to start my GCSE's let alone finish them. I left school when I was only fourteen, along with my home. Of course, my parents didn't even lift a finger after they noticed I'd been missing a week. They never did care about me. I ended up knocking about in the local park for a couple of weeks before I decided to retreat to a youth hostel over in Leeds. It was probably the worst thing I could have done - my stuff was nicked all the time, you never get any peace and quiet and there's always that one person who never leaves you alone - but I definitely preferred it to home.

I stayed in that little hostel until I was old enough to get a couple of jobs here and there. The jobs were absolutely crap, but paid enough for me to save up and get a place of my own. I didn't want to move too far, something comforted me about Yorkshire, despite all the chavs. Maybe it was the accent, or maybe it just felt natural for me to be here, I don't know.

My thoughts of my past were suddenly interrupted by the familiar sound of  Ghost Town - Universe. My ringtone. I checked the Caller ID, but it was an unknown number. I cleared my throat nervously and hesitantly answered my phone.

"Hello?" God, I sounded like an absolute tool.

"Hello there, this is a call for Kenadee Knight?"

"Yes, please may I ask what its regarding?" Toooooooool.

"It's regarding the groupie position with RCA records." My heart started beating at around what felt like 700 beats per minute.

"Yes?"

"I'm pleased to inform you that the record company loved your application, and luckily, one of our groupies has just handed in her resignation letter, so, the offer is open. It would be a pleasure if you could join us." Thank. God. I think my world just completely spun. I think I'm actually speechless for the first time in my life.
