*Oli's POV*

As if having to have a new groupie was bad enough, she was already twenty minutes late to even meet us. If you ask me, its ridiculous.

"Oli, are you okay mate?" Lee slumped down next to me on the chocolate brown sofa facing out of the floor to ceiling window in the office.

"I'm fine." I replied bluntly. This wasn't fair. Not one bit.

"Oli mate," I knew this was the start of a massive lecture, but I decided to listen anyway. "I know that you were close to Elle, but you know that she made things complicated for the band."

Elle was our last groupie. I ended up getting emotionally attached to her, but it turns out she was just using me to get publicity. We dated for a little while, but the record label knew what she was up to and forced her to resign.

"Look, Elle wasn't using me, okay? She loved me and I loved her. It's not fair."

Lee gave up, but turned to face me.

"Well at least pretend to get on with her Oliver. We don't need anymore shit from David and you know its hard walking away from everything to some strangers that she's never met before. Don't be a twat about it."

Lee stood up and walked over to Matt K, who was stood against the wall, lost in his own thoughts.

'I'm not a twat,' I thought to myself. "I'll show him that I can be "welcoming". Arsehole."

At that exact moment, David burst through the door, followed by a relatively short lass with bright purple and blue hair. She couldn't even look up, she looked petrified.

David introduced us to each other and she finally rose her head. I strutted over to her and embraced her in a massive hug.

"Hey Kenadee," I said in my sweetest voice. "Welcome to the family!"

I finally let go of her and returned to my spot on the sofa, striking Lee a smug grin on my way over. He shook his head. He seemed to know that was a front to piss him off, and it quite obviously worked. The rest of the band made their way over to Kenadee and introduced themselves, all hugging her briefly.

She was nothing like Elle, she was shorter, she dressed differently, she was way too shy. I already didn't like her.

David quickly went over the details of the tour, flights, accommodation, just generally everything she needed to know and she eventually said her goodbyes and left. The rest of the band seemed overjoyed that she was the new groupie, but I tried not to listen to their conversations about her. They all thought she was "hot" and "cute". They obviously have no idea what they're talking about.
