Catastrophic was a living statue. The disguise would have been perfect if not for the cat struggling in her arms. The place where Bliss had stood was long empty and the pavement was cold again with the lack of body heat that had occupied the flat surface. Catastrophic finally joined the land of the moving living after the cat scratched all the way down her arm, causing Catastrophic to give off a cat-like hiss of pain.

She knew the reasoning behind why Bliss had given her the cat, she just didn't know why Bliss had given her the cat. 'Even villains need a happy ending of some sort' was not a good enough reason in Catastrophic's opinion. There must be a catch. There had to be. If Catastrophic hadn't been so obvious in her trail when she had tried to steal that cat, she wouldn't be in this situation. Of course Bliss would have found out about it – anything to get something on the villain she was fighting. But to give said villain a cat? That was strange.

Catastrophic set off for home, the cat clutched in her arms still – wondering over the possibility of a hero being nice to a villain and the possibility of the cat becoming a sidekick.

"I think that's the last box." Mark said, wiping sweat from his forehead.

"I can't believe the lifts decided to break down this weekend. It's like they knew." Kate said, pushing another box towards her bedroom door. "I bet you they'll be fixed this afternoon when we don't need them anymore."

"Kate, calm down! Don't worry about it. I can carry a few boxes up the stairs." Mark let out a little laugh and Kate sighed.

"Come on, Alia, help us out."

"She's fine, Kate." Mark looked over to where Alia was lying on the sofa with her eyes closed. "She's probably exhausted."

"She hasn't been doing anything to make her tired!" Kate exclaimed. Alia opened her eyes and sat up.

"So you call working on a farm 'nothing'? I'd like to see you try!" Alia retorted. Mark shook his head and opened one of the boxes.

"Ladies, ladies, please don't fight! I want my first day officially living here to be a happy one!" He said, pulling out a picture. Alia raised her eyebrows when she saw it.

"Is that what I think it is?" She asked.

"A signed photo from Lightning Scars?" Mark grinned. "Too right it is."

"Oh my god you might have just become my favourite person." Alia scrambled over to Mark to get a better look at the photo.

"What will Zoe say?" Kate said, obviously over their little argument from moments ago.

"Zoe will understand." Alia said dismissively. "Did you actually meet them?" She asked Mark.

"I did better than just meet them," Mark said, flashing another grin at Alia. "I know one of the members."

"You have got to be kidding me." Alia looked at him in amazement. "How did you manage that?"

"Just after I'd become a police officer I got called to a house somewhere in London and it turned out there were some crazy fans camping outside Alfie's house. I had no idea who he was, of course. I got rid of the crowd and he came out to thank me personally. We kept talking and I've had VIP tickets to every concert since."

"Have you met them all?" Alia asked.

"Of course, even the newbies." Mark said. "I even had a say in choosing one of them."

"I cannot believe this!" Alia said. She looked up to see her mother silently laughing at them. "Why did you not tell me your boyfriend new Lightning Scars? I'd have accepted him so much quicker!" She said. Her comment made Kate laugh even more.
