My First Day

It's black, pitch black. I can't see anything; not even my hands. A voice calls out to me, "Mika, Mika". It's familiar, yet, who is it. I turn, then it calls again. I turn once more. With every turn it gets louder and faster until it breaks me, and i can't take it no more. I'm on my knees as I start to cry, but the voice, it's gone. A light shines through the darkness revealing a young girl. She's standing there staring back at me. Her face is so blurry; I can't see it. When I try to lean in and get closer, I fall. The room is white now. I'm still falling, faster and faster. The floor is getting closer. My heart starts racing. Then another voice yells, "Wake up! Wake up silly"! I hit the floor, and then it goes black, pitch black. I'm awake.

I'm slowly waking up. As i start my body up again, I can fell it being pulled back and forth. "Hello in there! Can you hear me"?! Ugh, now I can open my eyes; there's some girl shaking me. She notices I'm awake and jumps back. "Um, I'm sorry I was taking a nap. Did you need something". She doesn't say anything, but just stares back at me. I feel like there's something on my face. I can feel my face getting red. "Um.... ". She quickly reaches her arm out, "I'm Emi Takahiro. Are  you new"? Sigh, I'm so relived. "I'm-I-I......". Ugh, I'm still groggy from my nap. I can barley speak, "I'm... Mika Kiyomi. It's my first day, so... um...". She's quiet for a moment, almost emotionless.

Before I know it, she graves my hand and we rush over towards the lockers inside. "Where are we going"?! She doesn't answer. We stop in front of some wall. Emi knocks on it twice, "Secret code alpha. A B D C". Oh great I'm stuck with some weirdo. What is she doing?

 Huh? Did the wall just move, no. "Um.... Emi-chan, what are we doing here"? Nothing; shes so  focused, but why? "Um... Emi-chan"? "Shh. Wait". The wall, it's sliding open! She pulls me in and the wall closes. It's so dark; where are we? "Emi-chan"!? Light shines through, blinding me.

"Hey! Hello?! Are you okay"? Emi's voice, "I think so". Ugh, I feel like I just got punched in the face. I open my eyes and sit up. Every ones starring at me. "What happened"? "You hit your head". She helps me up to my feet and waves her arms in my face. "Um...". Not gonna ask.

"Okay, so this is our secret base. Wanna meet everyone. huh? huh"? God she gets so over excited. Her tail keeps hitting me. "Sure".

"I'm Mika Kiyomi. I'm half neko". A girl puts her arm out, "I'm Ayame Cho. I'm half kitsune". "Oh I'm Emi Takahiro, as you should know, and I'm half Inu." Ayame seems so nice, and not at all like Emi. "Um, Emi-chan, who's that"?

"Who? Where"? Gosh, she's seriously looking behind me."No emi-chan, over in the corner". "Oh, he's Yoshimitsu Takahiro, my brother, he's half kitsune. He keeps to himself most of the time but when he gets to know you he's really great." Hm wonder why he's like that?

"Okay sayounara Mika-chan"! "Sayounara"! Aw the days over. I wish it could've last longer. I took out my dorm number and tried to find my room. I hope I don't have a roommate.

Ah 2-2-7, finally, I'm here. I opened the door. Wow my dorm meow I'm home. The shower, it's on, hm. "Hello?! Is anyone there"?! No answer; the shower stopped. Someone comes out; I can't see them though."Um..". The smoke clears and it's a boy!

Oh god, am I in the right dorm?! No it says 3-2-7! "Hello, who's there"? He's still drying his hair. I ran as quick as I could. My face it's so red. He was so cute though; I hope he doesn't know it was me. Ugh so embarrassing.

The walk to my dorm was filled with my own awkward silence. I feel like he saw me; what do I do? Great my real dorm. At least there's no one here, no roommate.

I throw my stuff on the floor and jumped in bed. I hope to morrow's better.

            Dairy Entry:

Dear Mimi,

   Today was alright. I mean, daddy had to leave to some weird place because the army "needed his assistance", according to him. I just know he's hiding something.

It was right after he left I met Emi-chan, Ayame-chan, and Yoshimitsu-kun. We spent all day together, until it was dark out.

I had to go to my dorm, but of course it was the wrong one. Gosh, a boy was their, he had to have came out of the shower. But he looked so nice, my face got all red and I froze for a moment. Good thing he couldn't see me. I left as fast as possible. So embarrassing.

      Hope tomorrow goes better than today.
