No ones pov
Jess never left her sleeping husbands side. Not to sleep nor eat. For two days she sat there...until something happened. A hand brushed the crying Jess's messy black hair. She looked up. Jin was smiling down at her with eyes filled with love. They said nothing as she climbed in bed next to him. Jin wrapped his arms around his wife and Jess fell asleep with her husband humming a lullaby, cradling her. Jin kissed the top of her head and stayed awake till a certain being of night came to talk. "I've always kept my promises no matter how much energy it takes *yawn* up." Nightmare says. "Thank you. Look in the chest over there. There's some blankets if you need them. Help yourself." Jin replied. "No it's ok. If I'm not back to my friends by the time they wake up they'll start looking for me. I'm just going to take the long way home." She answered climbing out the window. "Till next Jin." She smiles before blending into the night.
Nightmare pov
I leave and when I get a good distends away I stop at a tree. It's not as big as the others but I like it. I sit under it and close my eyes. "Yeah a little bit of sleep would be nice. Just for awhile." I say to no one in particular. I curl up to the trunk of the small tree and rest my head on one of the roots. I bring my knees to my chest and hug them as I remember my parents and how they died. I remember how young I was and how much younger Midnight was.
Flashback
"Mommy daddy! It's Midy's birthday!" I say. "Ok sweetie we'll be down stairs eating cake soon." Mommy said eyes full of life. "Go play with your sister for now little dreamer." Daddy said with love in his words. "Ok!" I say running out of my parents room to my now 4 year old sister. "Nighty! Come pway!" She smiled her toothy smile. "Ok!" I say sitting down next to her. "MARK THEIR STILL NOT OLD ENOUGH!! WE CANNOT TELL THEM!!!" Mommy screams. "ITS TIME VIOLET!! THEY HAVE TO KNOW!!!" Daddy shouts. *CRASH* "AHHHHHHHH." I hear a scream. "MOMMY DADDY!!!!!" Midy cries. We run to their room to see a man with black hair and deep dark brown eyes wearing pitch black armor and it was covered with blood. He looks at us and smiles. "W-where's o-our m-mommy and d-daddy?" I say trying to be brave. "Oh their rrright here." He says with a sickening grin. He moves and we see daddy on the ground sideways with a hole in his chest with blood surrounding it and blood dripping down daddy's mouth. Mommy was worse. A black sword was sticking out of her stomach pining her to a wall and her pretty white dress was stained with blood. She was still alive though but hanging by a thread. He chuckles. "I think you should know my name before you both die. It's Shad. The shadow lord. NoW dIe ChIlDrEn Of NiGhT!" He said hands turning black with power as he ran towards us. I step in front of Midy and put my hand out in a stop motion. "GO AWAY!!! LEAVE US ALONE!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!" I scream with hatred and anger as I close my stormy blue eyes. Suddenly I feel strange. I opened my eyes as I see a force field surrounding us. I turn and see Midy with her hands blocking her head. Her black hair was streaked with blue. She opened her red eyes only to have then laced with black. She's crying. I look at Shad. He's trying to weaken her by punching the force field. Since he was distracted I ran to mommy. "Nightmare s-sweetie t-take the sword. I-it's mine. F-fight. I h-have I t-think f-five minuets l-left." She whispers in pain. I nod and pull the black sword out with all my strength. "H-hold it like t-this." Mommy grunts. I do as she said and felt a surge of power. I charged as Shad turned around. The sword went through his stomach. "Just as she said. The sword of night will be your doom. The welder a child age of young. With her sister so pure. Shall you be dead unknown. To seek the man creator of life they shall. Kids like them with stories to tell. Seems I shall return little dreamer." Shad spoke before turning to dust. "Nighty your hair. And eyes." Midy says. I rush to mommies mirror. My eyes are laced with black and my hair is streaked with white. "Go. G-go seek N-Notch. He'll e-explain everything. I l-lo.." Mommy never got to finish her sentence. In her hand was two necklaces. One silver and one gold. The silver one had my name on it. We packed food and clothes and walked out of our old home. Holding hands and me holding my new sword. The picture switched and I'm now myself again and I'm in a black room. I feel a sharp pain in my chest and I fall to the ground. "I'm CoMiNg FoR yOu." A voice rang out as blood dripped from my sword. And my hands. But mostly...blood dripped from my chest.
I wake up screaming. I look around and see I'm in a stone room. Foot steps rang out from in front of the bars. Laurence, Sly, Sky, and Kaytlen are standing before me. "What are you?" Sly asks. "That is non of your concern Antony Sly Stark." I spit. "How do you know his name?" Sky says. "I know everyone Adam Sky Minecraft." I smirk. "Hey gu- oh hi Nightmare." Jin says walking through the door. "I did say till next ti- wait is it morning!?" I panic. "Yes why?" Kaytlen said.
Midnight pov
"Morning Ni-Nighty?" I stutter. I look in the bathroom, under the bed. "T-TERROR!!!" I shriek running out of me and Nightmares bedroom. She runs up to me. "What is it Midnight?" She asks concerned. I start to cry. "I-I c-c-can't f-find N-Nightmare." I stutterly cry. She hugs me. "Shh we'll find her, won't WE." She soothes. I nod. We get dressed and run out of our house. I'm just so worried.
