Falling in love ( George Smith/ New Hope Club )

Part 6

Georges PoV
Today, Me and Blake are traveling up to stay at Reece's for the week so we could work on a new song and also record our new cover. But recording the cover was the last thing on my mind, i knew going to Reece's meant being closer to Lilly, and meant id finally get to as her again, even if it has only been a few weeks.
I wheeled my suitcase through my local station ready to get on my train, only to see my train was cancelled, ' great ' I thought to my self, what am I meant to do now ! I sat down at the platform searching my phone on what to do, only to see my other option was a train that left in two minutes and was on the other side of the station, I grabbed by guitar and my suitcase and ran for it, making it to the correct train without a second to spare.
This journey was going to be long, so I put my headphones in and listened to some 1975 to help the time go by.
I was about half way through my journey when I got a text
From Blake :
Mate where are you, me and Reece are waiting for you at the station ?
I was confused as to why Blake was there already, when we had all agreed to meet at 1pm
And it was only 11am now
To Blake
We agreed to meet at 1, why are you there already ?
From Blake
No we agreed to meet at 11
To Blake
Seriously ? I swear we said 1 ! Just go to Reece's and I'll meet you there sorry

Alright, text me when your almost here

I can't believe I got the time wrong again, I'm always doing this, don't think I've ever been on time for anything.
I still had an hour left of my journey and nothing to do so I decided to text Lilly

To Lilly
I'm at Reece's for the week, you coming over at some point ?
From Lilly
I'm here now, hurry up and get here I miss you
To Lilly
Sorry I got the times mixed up, I'll be at the station in like an hour
From Lilly
I'll meet you at the station, meet me by the startbucks ?
To Lilly
Okay, thank you and see you soon x
I was happy about the fact I would be seeing Lilly a lot sooner than I expected and I seriously needed this train to hurry up so I could see her .
' the train is now approaching its final stop ' the guard spoke over the speaker
Finally I was here in Accrington, I grabbed all my things and left the train, I walked through the gates and began to look for Lilly, only to be greeted by two arms wrapped around me, I was shocked at first but then saw Lilly and instantly wrapped my arms around her tiny waist;
" I've missed you " she said
" I've missed you too " I said smiling down at her
" the boys are back at Reece's and have already eaten lunch so I was wondering if you wanted to grab something before heading back " Lilly asked me
" sure sounds good " I smiled
" do you like nandos ?" Lilly asked
" is that even a question, who doesn't like nandos" I laughed
Lilly led the way and took me to a near by nandos, we were there for about an hour before we decided it was best that we headed back to Reece's because I needed to start working on the new songs with the boys.
Lilly led me to the car park and over to a small blue car, I didn't realise she could drive, but she helped me load my things into the back and drove me to Reece's house, throughout the whole journey I just wanted to hold her hand in mine as we drove alone, but obviously I couldn't, she wasn't mine and probably never will be.

Reece's PoV
Lilly left over an hour ago to go pick up George and it was already 2pm, where on earth have they got to, my thoughts were soon broken by a knock on the door and I knew it could only be them.
I opened the door and I was correct, there stood Lilly and George
" what took you so long " I questioned
" Lilly said you two had eaten so we just grabbed a bit to eat " George replied
" oh okay " I replied
Something about the two of them spending time together made me jealous and I don't know why, I don't think I have feelings for Lilly, I can't do ! She's my best friend, in fact for like a sister than a friend and you can't fall for your sister.
For the rest of the afternoon me and the boys worked on a new song, and Lilly stayed to listen, but the whole time she was just looking at George, it felt like I was loosing my best friend, whenever I used to sing her eyes wouldn't leave me, but now her eyes won't leave George, I knew George liked Lilly, but Lilly can't feel the same back can she ? Surly not !
She can't fall for him, I can't loose her !
What am I on about, I can't loose something that was never mine anyway.
I think I'm going crazy.
I think I'm falling for my best friend.
