Dick speaks to himself as he tours the school before 1st block starts. As he walks towards the gymnasium he bumps into one of the football players.
Football Player: Hey watch it shorty.
Dick: Im sorry man its my first day here and this place is huge.
Football Player: Let me see your schedule
Dick gives the football player the schedule
Dick: Here you go
Football Player: Seems like we got all the same classes together my brother.
Dick: Cool at least I have a friend here now.
Football Player: Who told you we were friends.....partner
Dick: I was just assuming that we wer-
The Football Player interrupts Dick
Football Player: Don't be assuming anything, besides hanging around with you will make my reputation drop real quick.
Dick: Meaning?
Football Player: Meaning, that around here in this school we stay in our places. Geeks hang out with geeks, the popular kids hang with the popular kids, and, well you get my point don't you.
Dick: Ill have you know, that I'll go wherever the hell I please to go in this school. Unless theres a sign that says "Do Not Enter", guess what I will be passing through. See most people around here might be intimidated by you punks, but Im not. I grew up in a circus til I was five years old, Ive seen a villain murder my parents right in front of me. So whatever you and your friends of yours think they can do to me, nothing and I mean NOTHING will be as worse as seeing your parents suffering in a circus tent right before your eyes. Now do you understand me......partner.
Football Player: My name is Stone, Victor Stone
Dick: Excuse me?
Victor: I like your spunk, and Im sorry about your parents.
Dick: Apology accepted
Victor : Follow me we can go through the gym to get to first block quicker, since we almost late to class
Dick and Victor walk in the gymnasium to see the cheerleaders practicing for the homecoming game later tonight. Dick stares at one of them and begins to walk up to her.
Dick: Hi, my name is Dick Grayson
Cheerleader: And Im supposed to care
Dick: Well, I mean it would be nice to say it back
Cheerleader: Hi and bye....Victor come get your pet
All the cheerleaders laugh
Dick: First off, its my second day here in California, I got called in by the police because some dude wearing black tights bumped into trying to catch a thief and Im nobodies pet. You peop-
Cheerleader: You encountered with Robin last night
Dick: Yeah, so what.
Victor: Are you serious, Robin is a legend here, and we need a hero like him here.
The bell rings for everyone to go to first block
Victor: C'mon Dick, I can't afford to be late to class again
Dick: Ok, by the way I didn't catch your name.
Cheerleader: Thats because I didn't throw it.
Dick and Victor walk towards the exit, and right before they leave the cheerleader yells his name.
