Hikaru's POV
"Hikaru."
I looked up from the table, eyeing Seiran who sat across from me. "Yeah?"
He held out a sheet of paper for me to take. It was the papers that I already answered questions to. I glanced at the one I was working on, right now, and sighed. I confirmed that I must of got something wrong, so Seiran wants me to fix it.
The peace and quiet within the room was quite comforting. We decided to meet before the host club opened in order for us to not be disturbed. The tutoring session went on for so long, that Honey and Mori arrived only a few minutes ago. He has been tutoring me for almost an hour, and I don't think I ever want to be tutored, again.
Taking the paper from him, I scanned through my answers until I saw bright red markings on a few questions. I quickly erased my work, trying to correct it.
"Rannn~ Channnnnn~♪" I heard Honey run up to Seiran and cling to his arm. Mori watched by the side.
Yes... Save me from this torture...
Slightly startled, Seiran asked if he needed anything.
"After you are done, helping Hika-chan, would you like to eat some cake with me?" I slightly looked up, to see Seiran's face. The expression he had on made it hard for me to read.
Then, Seiran caught me looking, which made me flinch. He turned back to Honey, saying, "We could actually use a break, right now. Am I right, Hikaru? You've been working hard the whole time, but you look ready to flip out on me."
He read me, again... It's like I'm an open book...
I nodded without saying anything and stood up from my seat. Seiran did the same. We followed Honey to his own seating area, where a bunch of cake was set up.
Seiran pulled up a seat to a table. He reached for the tea set and poured himself a cup.
I joined him, pouring a cup for myself.
"Yay!" Honey tackled Seiran's arm, again. "I'm so happy you can join me, Ran-chan! Now! What kind of cake do you want? There's chocolate, strawberry, truffle, tiramisu..."
Sweatdropping, I watched Honey ramble on without giving Seiran a chance to answer. Meanwhile, I've been completely ignored.
"Well, I don't mind whatever cake it is, Mitsukuni-kun. You can surprise me, if you'd like," Seiran said, smiling. Honey nodded his head, rapidly. Mori soon walked over to pick him up and carry him off to pick out a cake.
I, on the other hand, had Seiran's smile etched into my mind. It was weird. He doesn't seem to smile a lot, but the few times I have seen him smile look so natural.
Boss, you're at a loss, I though as I sipped my tea. This guy could get you some good business.
"So do you want to continue with tutoring or stop for the day?"
I stopped my teacup in midair. "Hm?"
Seiran rested his chin on his hand, eyes locking onto mine. "Do you want to call it a day? The host club opens up soon, right? You have a job to do, along with your brother."
What he said was true. I seriously didn't want to continue being tutored, but after being asked that, I'm not sure.
Then, he declared, "I'll finish having some cake, then we'll call it a day. If you can't come to a decision, Hikaru, then I'll make one for you."
