We were all at the graveyard. To my left, I saw Maribella and Blake. Blake was ecstatic to try out his new body; he was smiling and strutting around. Maribella was biting her nails, probably thinking about her breakup. I recalled some of the last words she said to Armando, “We’re gonna kick ass today; we don’t need you to slow us down.” Then I remembered the look on her face. Mari didn’t have faith the words that she said. I questioned how we were going to win without extra help.

I saw someone coming towards us. It was a man; a little less than six feet tall. I couldn’t see a face because there was too much fog in the air. As he started to come closer, I somewhat recognized him. He looked just like Armando.

Maribella looked at the man, and when she looked back her face showed contempt. I realized that the man coming towards us was Armando.

“Hello.” Armando said. His face showed that he was apologetic, but I wasn’t sure why he came. Was he going to ask Maribella to come back to him? Was Armando going to help us?

Maribella managed to whisper a “Hi” back. Armando didn’t say a word for a couple of minutes; he just gazed at the rest of us.

“I’m sorry Ari, I didn’t mean to hurt you as much as I did, and I’m here to make up for it. I’m going to help everyone out. I’ll give up my life if I need to.” Armando talked quietly, and looked at Maribella for mercy.

I didn’t think that Maribella would forgive Armando; she wasn’t the kind of person to give second chances. Maribella was nice; she was really trustworthy, but if you violated her trust she wasn’t quick to forgive.

“That’s good to know,” Maribella said without feeling, without expression on her face. “I guess we’ll have to put your word to the test.”

Maribella glanced at Armando, with daggering eyes.

Drakko was obviously offended by Armando being around. “If you’re not needed you shouldn’t bloody be here. Maribella doesn’t need a useless puppy following her around.”

“Oh, how frightening is thy British wrath.” Armando said sarcastically. “Not. Actually, I don’t think you’re man enough to have wrath.”

“Oh really?” Drakko retorted, “You better belt up, boy, or I might be having werewolf for dinner.”

Maribella smiled. “Sounds delicious, may I join in?” I just now realized how mad Maribella was. I wondered what Armando did to make Maribella hate him so passionately.

Drakko smirked. “Anytime, beautiful love.”

Blake attempted to redirect the conversation. “Does anyone know where Ebony is?”

A voice appeared from behind us. “I do.”

Once we had turned around, we saw Ebony and a friend. I didn’t recognize the other girl. She had dark black hair and the most beautiful, practically glowing skin. She was really striking, just like Ebony. I didn’t know just how brutal she was going to be, but I assumed the worst.

“This is Graceon. Are we ready to start?” Ebony introduced Graceon.

In less than a second, a flash of light hit Blake, yet he barely noticed. Ebony was surprised, and backed away. While she was in shock, Drakko and Maribella attacked Ebony; Armando and I went after Graceon. Blake decided who to go after, and he chose Ebony.

Armando changed into his wolf form. Graceon was quick; she would scratch at us, but we were doing better.

I wasn’t at all focused. All I could think about was Blake; the way he smiled, the way he kissed me, and the way he was fighting Ebony. Blake was amazing. I remembered the sweetest words he’s ever said to me, “If anything bad happens today, I want you to know that I love you... I want you to know that you mean a lot to me, and I need to know that it’s been a pleasure knowing you.” He said those words in the sweetest way, with his deep voice that made my knees go weak. I loved Blake.
