Shadow

Chapter 3

I watch in horror as they dragged my carrier in the room, she has a hole in the middle of her chest, I feel the warm pale coolant tears stream from my optics.

"Momma?" I say almost crying, Sideswipe holds me closer to him, "You monster!" SunStreaker growls, his voice filled with hatred, "I'm the monster? Well where are my manners?" Mega-jerk says 'hurt' then starts shooting at Optimus, who dodges every shot with ease.

Sideswipe was about to get tackled and then a flash of yellow tackles the flying Decepticon.

"Sideswipe, get her and Chromia to safety!" I hear IronHide order, then Sideswipe grabbed Chromia's servo and drags her to the back of the ship, with me in his arms.

I see a door, Sideswipe stops in front of it and Chromia types in the code, Sideswipe hands me to Chromia, who took me willing, Sideswipe gave me a quick peck on my cheek plate, then gently pushes Chromia in the room, he takes one look at me, he turns and runs off.

The door closes, "SIDESWIPE!" I scream, but Chromia put her servo over my mouth, to keep me quiet, "He'll be okay, trust me" Chromia soothes, I stop screaming, Chromia sits in the corner of the room, removing her servo from my lip compartments, "I knew your carrier" she says after 2 minutes of complete and utter silence.

"You did?" I whisper, she nods, "She was a sweet spark, she cared about everything and everyone... But when she found out about you, she was excited, she was too excited and I was the first bot she told" Chromia said then I heard her sniffle.

"You don't have to talk about it" I said, and then there was pounding on the door, "Sideswipe?!" I ask, "Sweet Spark?!" I hear Sides say.

I smile getting up and try to open the door, I look under the door and see Sideswipe's peds, "Sideswipe!" I cheer, "Open the door sweet Spark" Sideswipe says his voice soft and full of worry.

"Are the Decepticons gone?" Chromia asks, "Yes, all of them" Sideswipe says, Chromia, gets up and walks towards the door and opens it slowly.

I'm faced with Sideswipe's peds, looking up and see Sideswipe, he kneels and I jump in his arms, he falls back on his aft, but I don't care!

I hug him as tight as I can get, "She's really happy to see you!" I hear IronHide say, "I'm glad she's not happy to see me, cause her little grubby digits will scratch my paint!" I heard Sunstreaker grunt, and then I heard a THUNK.

"Ow Ratchet! Stop that!" I heard Sunstreaker yelp.

"It's not going to be her digits that messes your paint up! It's going to be a wrench!" I hear Racet growl.

I pull back from the hug and I see Sideswipe's optics have happiness in them, I smile, but then my carrier crosses my processors.

I sigh sadly, Sideswipe notices, he stands up with me in his arms, and he hands me to Optimus!

I freeze when I'm on Optimus's arm plating, I look up at him, "Hello" he says, I smile widely, "Optimus I think the little one knows who you are" IronHide says.

"Do you know who I am?" Optimus asks, "Momma told me all about you! She even told me that you trained her!" I cheer.

"That's true, and I was with your carrier when she had you" Optimus says and he pokes my nose with his digit gently, which causes me to chuckle.

"Optimus, you were?" Chromia asks, "Yes, Moonlight was like a sparkling I've never had" Optimus said, they all start a conversation and then I see Sideswipe and Sunstreaker walk off.

I motion for Optimus to set me down, he does that gently, he sets me on my peds, I put my arms out like an airplane and then I start walking slowly there direction.

"Sideswipe, SunStreaker are you two forgetting something?" Chromia asks when I get to Sideswipe's ped.

"She's like their own Shadow" Ratcet says, "Ratchet you're a genius! That's her name! Shadow" Chromia says.

"Shadow? Does she even like that name?" SunStreaker asks, "Yes!" I cheer, "Her name is Shadow" Optimus says, I smile, and then I felt a yawn coming on, I let the yawn out, "I see Shadow is now tired" Sideswipe says.

He bends down and he picks me up, I put my helm on his chassis, and slowly close my optics, "Have a nice recharge Shadow" I hear Sides sooth before I fell into recharge.
