"Maya!"

"Maya!"

"Maya! Can you hear me?"

"Maya come on. Open your eyes!"

"Maya. Wake up!"

"Maya!"

Those were the last words Maya heard before she blackout. She's been asleep for 2 week now. Josh and her were in a car accident. Josh only had some cuts, but Maya fell into a coma.

Josh blamed himself for what happened, but each time Riley said it was not his fault, but of course Josh was to ignorant to listen. Josh had stayed at the hospital every day since he was injured they allowed to stay.

Lucas, Riley and Farkle would always visit them. Lucas would bring Maya, her favorite flowers every time. One day Lucas finally snap and went off on Josh. "It's all your fault, she's in this coma! You're pathetic. You're supposed to protect her, but instead she's in a coma. I should put you in a coma!" Lucas shouted.

He had grabbed Josh by his collar and pushed him against the wall. His fist ready to punch him, but Riley was trying to stop him. "It's not his fault. He did the best he could Lucas. We all blamed him the first time we heard about it, but it's not his fault. He can't help with the other driver did. We should be happy they're alive." Riley explained. Lucas looks at Riley than at Josh. He let go of him, but not before punching him.

"You're lucky Riley right. I would have done more than punch you." Lucas said leaving the room. "Farkle can you follow Lucas and make sure he doesn't do anything crazy." Riley said.

"Yeah sure." Farkle replied leaving the room to follow Lucas. Riley bent down and hug Josh. Who had sat down on the floor. Tears in his eyes. Not because of Lucas punching him, but that Lucas was right. Josh had stop blaming himself last week, but hearing what Lucas said made him blame himself even more.

"Lucas right Riley. I'm pathetic. I couldn't protect the person I loved more than anything. I'm sorry Maya."

And that's when Maya eyes opened. She stood up quickly breathing in and out. After her breathing claimed down. She looks around. The first person she recognized was Riley, but not Josh who looked like a stranger to her.

"Riley." Maya barley could say. She hadn't talked in 2 week so she could barley talk. Riley turned to Maya's bed. She stop hugging Josh and stood up.

"M-Maya. You're awake. Maya!" Riley said. She went to Maya and hug her. "Riley. Where am I?" Maya asks. "You're in the hospital. You got into a car incident. You been in a coma for two weeks." Riley explained. Maya couldn't believe it. That's when she noticed the badges on her arms. She couldn't feel her legs and everything hurt.

Riley looks at Josh. "Come on Josh. She's awake." Riley said. Josh knew she was awake. He saw her eyes open, he saw her stand up and look at him. He just couldn't believe it. He got up.

"Maya!" Josh said happily hugging her. She didn't feel warm, but she was alive. Josh let go. He noticed Maya was looking at him oddly. Like they never met like he was a stranger and to her, he was. "Why are you looking at me like that Maya. Don't you recognize me?" Josh asks almost like he was about to cry again. Maya shakes her head.

"I'm sorry. Who are you?"

Josh couldn't believe it. Maya, the person who had a crush on him since they met. Didn't recognize him.
