"Stop joking around Maya. Of course you remember Josh." Riley said. Her smile had disappeared. Maya looked at Josh one more time, but nothing.

"I'm sorry RiRi, but I don't remember him. Is he my brother or something?" Maya asked. The word brother hurt Josh really bad. Everytime they went out people would think they were brother and sister. Maya would usually tell them off, but this time it really hurted Josh to hear it from Maya.

His Maya.

"You're an only child Maya. He's......" Riley said, but Josh touched her shoulder. Riley looked at him. In his eyes Riley could tell Josh didn't want Maya to know. What they are. What they were. Riley took a deep breath.

"Never mind. You know what I'll just get the doctor. Maybe she can tell us what's wrong with you." Riley said about to leave, but Josh grabbed her hand. "Please don't leave." Josh muttered.

"I have to go get the doctor." Riley said. "I'll get her." Josh said. "Are you sure? You barely been out this room. Since you know." Riley said. Josh was to scared to leave Maya alone so he stayed in this room until he had to use the bathroom. "Yeah. I-I can do it." Josh said. "Okay, but be careful." Riley said. Josh let go of Riley's hand and nodded.

He left the room.

Maya and Riley didn't say anything after that. It was silent for a few minutes until Maya finally said something. "Where's Lucas?" Maya asked. "He just went out." Riley said.

She didn't want Maya to know about earlier. "Oh. How about Farkle?" Maya asked. "He's with Lucas." Riley answered. "Oh." Maya said.
