Chapter 1 [Night Class]

The beautiful sound of piano being played was echoing in the room. Stay in Memory, a master piece by Yiruma was being played. The soft melody of it was enough to make people hypnotized by it. Delicate hands dances around the piano keys with pro, no doubt already mastering it. Never once he made any mistake while playing it. Too immersed with his own world and the sound of the piano, he never noticed another presence that was watching him.

As the music started to end, he let his fingers dance for a while, letting it played with the keys before stopping. He let his fingers slide to his laps as he stared at the piano keys for a while. After several moments, a clapping sounds resounding inside of the room. He slowly raised his head up, glancing at the door where the person was standing. Because the room was dim with no light, he can't see the faces of the person who was leaning on the door. He tilted his head a bit so he can see the person who was standing there, watching him. He didn't know since when he had being watched.

"I never knew the new guy was a pro with piano."

A deep and horse voice, no doubt it's a guy was what he thought. He keep on silence and wait for the guy to moves. When he did moves from his position, he can saw now who the person was.

Kim 'Kai' Jongin, Kingka of SM Academy.

"Thank you..."

Kai looked at him, raising one eyebrows before chuckling.

"I see you're not a talkative guy. Man, this gotta be hard, conversing with you that is." He said. "By the way, I know you've heard of me, it's hard not to."

Kai said it with full of smugness. He knows that even the new guy had heard if him. He just know it.

"I'm sorry but I do not know who you are and I never heard your name being mentioned."

That was a hard blow to Kai's pride. He just embarassed himself, not to mentioned in front of the new guy! He pinched the bridged of his nose. He need to calmed down first. He shouldn't yelled at the new guy for not knowing his name.

The new guy chuckled. "Kim Jongin also known as Kai. A student with high grades, love to dance and hang around your friends." Kai snapped open his eyes when he heard the short descrption of himself. "I know of you, the girls like to talk about you."

"Then..."

"Jokes. Never get ones before?" Kai snorted before laugh. He never knows that the new guy can make a jokes out of him even though he looks like the type of not a talkative guy.

"I'm D.O. Nice to meet you, Kai."

Kai was about to asked what his full names were when the bell rang. As the bell ring through the academy in the night, Kai look at the ticking clock on the wall behind him. It's already the end of their classes. But, when he turn back to look at where D.O is, the place were empty already. The only clue indicating that the male was here with him was the music sheets that still on the piano. He looked at the large window behind the piano, it was open with the curtain fluttering everywhere being blown by the night breezes.

He smirked knowing that the latter had exits through the window. He chuckled, finding it amusing. The new guy really was interesting. Never once any person got to make him feels like this. This is the first for him. He can't wait to meet with him again.

But, will he really get to meet D.O again? He even didn't know if the latter take morning classes at all. He give out a deep sighed as he run his hand through his blonde hair. He cursed himself for not asking the male more about him.

"Curse you time..."

As he looked at the time again, it's already 11.18 p.m. The dormitory gates will closed at 11.30 pm. He really should hurry up since the time is not with him today. He turn to the door and ran through hallway until he reached the front door. He knew his friends just ditched him, knowing they hate to get punished if they enter the dormitory later than the warden had give them enough time. He walks through the garden where the dormitory is.

He stopped at his track, when he get a glance of a person stand just across of him. He just can see the silhoutte of the person, plus the water fountain was blocking his view. When he squinted his eyes, he can guess it was a guy.

He tilted his head to the side, trying to see the faces of the person. He himself didn't know why he want to know who was the person. He never ever stop to look at a person, even if he was being called from behind, he never stop. But this, he doesn't know why, but the feeling of longing was too strong for him to brushed it off.

Just as the water from the water fountain stopped flowing, soft night wind ruffling his hair, making the tree around him to dance, and the cloud that hiding the moon finally moves out.

He gasped at the view in front of him.
It was beautiful. There's nothing he can say about it except beautiful. The sakura petal that just blossom was dancing through the air, with the moon didn't obscuring his view on the male anymore, he now can see who the male is.

D.O

The new guy he just meet not a moment ago at the music room. He meet him again. As D.O turn , his eyes catched Kai's one. They were staring towards each other. The time seems like it's stop by itself.

D.O was perfect for Kai. Never he saw any guy this beautiful for his entire life. Those doe-eyes was big like an owl, plump lips that had heart-shaped, the hair with black color just like the night color.

He can't see the view when they were in the room but now, he can see him clearly. For some reasons, he can hear his heart thumping loudly inside of him, his stomach feels funny, and he can't tear his eyes off of D.O. His hand shot up towards where his heart is. He cluthched it tightly.

What is this?

He hate this kind of feeling yet at the same time, experiencing it for the first time made him a little bit happy? He really had gone crazy. He closed his eyes and trying to calm his chaotic heart. Once he open his eyes, he was startled by the faces in front of him. D.O was looking at him with a worried expression.

"Kai-shii, are you okay? Are you hurt somewhere?" Clearly D.O was really worried of him and that gesture made him happy somehow. Never before people worried of him like this. It made him feel special.

"I'm okay, no need to freak out."

"But, you were clutching your shirt where your heart is, are you really okay?"

"Yes, I assured you that I'm okay."

"Then, at least let me accompany you till you arrives at your room."

Now, who was Kai to never excepts a beautiful guy offered. But, it made him look less gentlemen. Whatever.

The walked towards their room was fill with silenced from both party. None of them knows what to said towards each other. But, even though it's silenced, it's not awkwards, they just felt happy from each other accompany.

"This is my room." Kai said, breaking the ice between them. D.O look at the door with wide eyes.

"This is your room?" Kai nodded. "Really?"

"Yes, it is. Is something wrong with my room?"

"Uhmm... It's..." D.O was stumbling with his own words, doesn't know what to say.

"What is it? Just spill it."

D.O look up at him. "This is also my room."
