I walk into the guild hall after having just finished another job. 'Damn it. She is here already.' I think to myself as I see the white haired girl in question. The one who drives me fucking insane. Just my luck. I walk over to the bar and sit down, trying my best to ignore her presence in the guild hall. I already had a long day and I don't need her thinning my patience any further. The second I'm handed a drink, I down it in like three seconds. 'Crap she is walking over here.' Is it too late to just get up and leave? I could claim I have another job to get to, or that I need to speak to the old man or some shit. Anything for avoid an interaction. "Geez are you drinking or trying to drown yourself?" She asks, sitting next to me. "Will you just shut up? God you're so annoying." I snap back. Of course she starts the conversation off by immediately berating me. She can never just let me have some damn peace. "Right back at ya bolt for brains." She continues to argue before finally getting up and leaving me alone.

Mirajane Strauss.

A total pain in my side, a loud mouth with no filter, an egotistical brat. She is such an annoying little twerp. I've always hated her and I'm always going to hate her. She makes my life at the guild a living hell. She never knows when to just back off. "Hey Titania!" I hear Mirajane yell, right by my fucking ear. I grab my ear and look to the side annoyed, glaring at her as she practically blew my eardrum out with her screeching. "Beat it demon girl! I'm busy." Erza yells back in a huff, clearly more focused on her task than on Mira. And just like every other day in this stupid guild, Mira and Ezra are screaming their heads off at each other while everyone else has to suffer. "God, just shut up!" I shout, interrupting the screaming and drawing the attention onto me. Just great, the one thing I didn't want to do today. I can feel the tingle of a couple sparks running loose through the floor, but I don't give a damn. Can't a guy just get one day of peace at the bar? All I wanted was to relax after a long day of working and have a damn drink. Is that too much to fucking ask? "You all are a bunch of annoying twerps! I can't fucking stand you all! This guild's standards have fallen so pathetically low!" I grab my things, downing the last of my refilled drink before storming out of the guild hall. My outburst seemed to have left the entire room silent, at least now there was a second of peace. Even still, I did not want to stay another minute surrounded by those loud, obnoxious, and pathetic excuses for wizards.

The next day, I was called into the old man's office. I knew I screwed up, but then again it's not like I cared about receiving punishment at the hands of Makarov. "Laxus, you and Mira's little.. disagreements has to stop." He says as I walk in and take a seat at one of the chairs. "It's not my fault she is an annoying little twerp." I mumble, honestly just over this whole thing. I never start these arguments with Mira, but I sure as fuck am going to finish them. I'm not gonna let that little twerp think she has the upper hand on me. I refuse to let her think she has won. "A guild is nakama, Laxus. Without trust and teamwork it cannot function." Gramps says, doing that annoying thing he does where he folds his hands together as if he's some wise shaman shelling out wisdom. It always annoys me when he does that, it feels like he's looking down on me. "A guild isn't nakama! It's just another way for people to make money. It's a business more than anything. I can't stand this family bullshit you're always trying to preach!" I yell, finally having enough of this. I get up from the chair and storm out of his office. I'm done with it all today, I have hit my fucking limit. "You always gotta be so negative." I hear someone say from behind me. As I turn around, I see a glimpse of the very same twerp who has been causing me such a headache to begin with. "Look who's talking demon girl." I snap back at her, using Erza's insult from earlier in hopes of hitting a nerve.

"Bolt for brains!" She shouts at me as I'm walking away, making me stop in my tracks and turn to look over my shoulder. "At least I don't look like a grandmother with grey hair!" She clenches her fists at this and puffs out her cheeks, clearly angry. "It's silver!" She argues back, as if that defense makes any difference to what I said. "Its fucking white!" I snap back, continuing this back and forth with her as I turn to walk over and get in her face. "Enough!" We both immediately stop with the arguing at the sound of the old man's voice booming through the guild hall. Reluctantly, and knowing we're both caught, we turn in the direction of the voice. "Now I have just about had it with you two! All this bickering and arguing all the time is ridiculous! Like it or not you're both members of Fairy Tail. You're stuck with one another. And I will not continue to watch you both grow up to be bitter and sensitive, constantly complaining about things that are not that big of a deal!"

Makarov let out a frustrated huff, before walking over to us and bonking us on the head with the rolled up piece of paper he was holding. Obviously it didn't hurt, but it still annoyed the fuck out of me. "You two are the older ones. You're supposed to be setting an example! And you." He says as he points in my direction. "If you have such a problem with the way the kids are behaving, you have nobody to blame but yourself. Your behavior towards Mirajane is unacceptable." He sighed, before turning his attention to Mira next. "I want both of you to go on a mission together and settle your differences. Don't come back till you've made up!" He yells, handing us the rolled up piece of paper he was holding, which turned out to be a job flier. A mission? With her? Is he serious? I'd never survive being stuck with her for who knows how fucking long. I'll lose my damn mind! "Go, now!" We both scoff and walk out of the guild. Knowing we can't exactly argue with an order from Makarov.

This is gonna be a long mission.
