her eyelids, they're cold and pale- loss of color as i listen to the heart monitor beep every second. she looks so broken and her body has grown skinnier than ive ever seen, like a model who's starved herself and taken drugs.
yes i know, pretty rash but her ribs stuck out whenever the nurses would come in to bathe her everyday. her fingers twitched once, on april 3rd.
the doctors informed me that i must've been seeing things as all ive done for the past months was hopelessly watch her until my eyes closed from exhaustion.
i miss you, my rose. i miss you so much.
