"no!" everything happened in a mist of confusion as the bang sounded and a girl came running forward, snatching the gun away and throwing it from the collapsed victim. "please, no! rose!" she begged, straddling the girl in her lap while fanatically dialing nine one one.
the second the call was answered, words were thrown around the room before the sound of sirens echoed closer to the two story home. everything was in a blur as rose was taken from the girl's arms- after many attempts to keep her in her lap. her sobs echoed through the room as she watched her best friend being loaded into the large ambulance car.
"please, please-" she begged, clawing desperately at the police officer that held her back. "im the only one, the only one- i," her body was picked up and thrown into a car by a familiar embrace. her mind cried at the scene she had just witnessed, her light suitcase still in her arms.
when she had realised what rose was doing, why rose had told her where the letters where, she bought a ticket to the soonest trip to georgia and didnt look back.
"fluer." she heard her name being called, the owner's hand gently tracing over her skin in attempts to comfort her. "don't touch me, xaiver." she whimpered, moving her body away from the contact as she coughed out wails.
"please dont be dead, my rosalina."
