Aileas POV


I stopped my train of thoughts when it took a turn of the track of Aleks. I wanted him here now, I realised that.

I'm hours away from him and he probably hates me, I've ran away twice now.

I asked Sarah to use her phone, I knew Aleks' phone number, I was going to call him. After 3 rings I heard a small hello at the other end.

''Aleks, I'm sorry.'' Is all I said, its all that I could think of saying.

''Ailea, if you don't want me as a mate just reject me already!'' I heard his soft cry through the phone.

''I called to say that I want you here with me. We can try to forget all that has happened.''

''Ailea, I'd like you here with me too. I don't know where you are though.''

We can come back I thought. I can tell you about Sarah and about my dream.

''Aleks we can come back for you.'' I whispered.

I knew Sarah heard though, and she was giving me a very dirty look.

''Come back if you want, I'll come with you, wherever your heart wants to go.''

I mumbled a goodbye and then proceeded to question Sarah about her unamused glares.

'My mate and I are not on speaking terms, he rejected me.' She said.

To bad for you. I thought. So many mates get rejected. But Sarah obviously had unspoken reasons for being this angry.

We made a stop at the nearest store to use the washroom, then we started back full speed to get Aleks.

By the time we were there, Tawny and her family were fast asleep, I was not though.

Aleks gave me a quick hug and jumped into the seat beside me. He feel asleep after an hour or so of driving, I fell asleep shortly after he did.


Sarah's POV

I don't know why I agreed to this, Ailea is extremly annoying, and her mate now with her, thats not good.

It would have been so easy to go back to my boss and say that she's gone. But no, her mate is going to make this difficult, and I don't have time for difficult.

I was sent to get Ailea and offer her a place to stay. After she was comfortable I'd slip just the smallest drop of poison in her food, when she's weak, I'd kill her. I was sent by a hunter, offered me good money for her death.

Now with Mr. Mate here, he won't leave her alone, he'll probably smell the poison, stupid alpha nose. His alpha scent is unmistakeable to any werewolf.

However I wont fail this.

I am basically depending on Ailea's death for my survival, these hunters are no joke let me tell you that.

I kept driving, just thinking about how I plan to eliminate her.

'Dear Diary,

Aleks is with me now, I know how much I need him. I don't really know about Sarah anymore, she just seems distant, I guess you could say. I plan to build up an army just incase this whole war thing is actually happening. I had stopped worrying about it for awhile, but I just can't shake the thought that something will happen.
