The One that Got Away

Time Passing By

                             School had started up again, and every time I went to talk to Cierra it just felt awkward.  That feeling soon pasted and things were back to normal. I just still didn't have a girl friend, but I knew witch girl was meant for me.

                              We had to do state testing, and I was doing great on math, but langue arts was.... something else. So I didn't talk to Cierra much because she was hanging out with her friends,  hate me, that day. That day I hung out with Tyler. I asked him who he liked, but still he never answered me. I told him who I liked and he said, " Why haven't you asked her out then." I told him," I did, but........" I waited for him to say 'but what?' Then," But what?" I told him, " But! she rejected me. She said that if I ask her again later in the year she would say yes. I just haven't asked her yet."

                                     He told me to go ask her, but he didn't say what to ask her. I asked Cierra with a studded," wh - what's up?" "Nothing, she said, " just chillin'. "' Cool," I said. " well I have to go now so... bye." And I ran, not walked, not jogged, ran.

                                       As I came back Tyler asked, " Well what did she say?" I just told him that she was just chillin', and he walked away. I knew he would do that. I just waited at the benches until the bell rang. Nothing exciting happened that. The most exciting thing that happened was that got an A on my math test. I started texting my sister. it didn't last very long, for my teacher confiscated it.

                                      At home was the same, but I just sat around and watched TV. It was was Thursday and Friday was the last day of school. When it got late, 2:00 a.m., I went to bed. I layed their with my eyes shut trying to go to sleep.I tasted and turned and even went to go get some water, but I still couldn't go to sleep. I thought about life and stuff, Like Cierra. Then I hit me. I realized that Cierra was leaving at the end of school and going to middle school, and I would stay here!
