The Meet

 Princess Twilight Sparkles pov

The train screeched at it stoped at Canterlot. we got off the train and ran to the castle. the guards let us pass and we went to the throne room. the guards bowed and opened the door. my friends and i walked to the princesses. they smiled.

"your highnesses." spike said. he and my friends bowed.

"no need." said celestia.

"celestia, luna. you sent for us?" i asked.

"yes, princess Twilight. a princess has arrived at canterlot. she is not a allicorn but she will completely turn into one once her lesson is done." explained celestia.

"yes. she has already recieved her horn but a huge lesson need to be learned in order to get her wings." said luna

"what's her name and lesson?" i asked.

"her name is caramel lily. and her lesson is friendship." said celestia. i gasped. that wwas the lesson i had to learn. i couldnt think that another pony had to learn it to.

"Twilight. we want you and your friends to teach her this lesson. you don't have the elements of harmony anymore but your frienship remainds. you and your friends willuse your friendship to teach the princess the lesson." said luna

"but-"

"we believe in you." said luna

"what if-"

"remember what i said to you when you recieved your wings? im not your teacher like i was before. we are all your students now too." said celestia.

i nodded.

"good. now go. she is waiting for you and your friends in her room. the guards will show you were it is."

"okay." i said. i turned around and walked to the door without bowing to the princesses. i knew that since i was a princess now i didn't need to bow to any princess.

"one more thing girls but she doesn't have her cutie mark yet. im sure that you'll be able to help her with that too." said celestia

the guard opened the throne room door and we walked into the hall.

"woowee. i can't believe a new princess is your student, twilight." said applejack

"i know." i said not excited.

"cheer up suger cube." applejack said placing her hoof on my shoulder.

"your right applejack." i said. we stopped at the door. i breathed in deeply, exhaling after.

i knocked on the door.....

Caramel lilys pov

i was about to put my bag beside my bed when i heard a knock at the door. saphire and i looked at each other. she ran over to me and stood beside me. i could tell she knew the princess was here.

"come in!" i yelled.

the door was opened to reveel Princess Twilight Sparkle and her firends. i smiled shyly. the princes walked over to me smiling. her friends followed. the girl with the white mare with the purple mane smiled brightly and her eyed widened as she looked at my mane. i smiled again slightly.

"hello caramel liily. Im twilight. these are my friends, flutterdhy, applejack, rainbow dash, pinkie pie and rarity."

"hello." i answered. i noticed the princess had a small dragon too. she was light green and purple.

"hi your highness." said the baby dragon. i nodded. i was surprised when he noticed my dragon. the light blue dragon hid behind my hooves and waved to the other dragon smiling slightly. he waved back.

"this is spike. my assistant." said twilight.

"uh... this is saphire." i said. stepping out of the way to the can see her. fluttershy gasped and ran over to Saphire scaring her as she jumped on my back and did her best to hid im my mane.

"oh im sorry. i didn't mean to scare her." she slightly whipered.

"that's okay fluttershy. she's just a little shy." i answered.

Saphire peeked form my hair. fluttershy looked at her with a kind smile. Saphire jumped from my back and walked infront of her. she jumped on fluttershy's back and hugged her.

"she's adorable. where did you get her?" twilight asked me.

i sadly looked at the ground and turned to the mirror. i couldn;t tell them about how i met her. but for them to understand my memories i had to explain it to them.

"i was on my way back from my school i found saphire in an ally way hungry and sad......" i trailed off.

"the best way to explain it is if i show you ponies." I tapped them on the head gently sending them into a vision.

Flashback:

i walked to her carefully and smiling. she looked at me from behind trash. she frowned and froze. i stepped closer slowly then stopped.

"hi little one. its okay. i won't hurt you." i said.

the little dragon smiled ans stepped out from behind the trash. she was a tiny little thing. skinny and sad. i brought the baby dragon home with me. my parents aid no but i secret ly hid her in my room. i washed her, feed her and gave her a cozy little bed to sleep in. she sneezed so i named her saphire because of her scaly coat and violet blue fire breath.

my parents caught me one day while feeding her and threw me out. saphire and i walked along the streets tired and hungry.  one day it started to rain and night fell. i saw the castle and we headed to the door. i knocked hopeful that someone would answer. noone did. but as i turned to leave the door opened. i looked behind me too see celestia. she smiled at saphire and myself. she let me and took me under her wing. raised me like her own. i loved her like my own sister, but luna started to give me dirty looks. so i stopped with the old sister thing. celestia allowed me to keep Saphire. luna grew to love me as her sister too soon after i stayed with them. i've been here ever since.

"wow." said twilight.

"i know its said and happy and i fell i  love with what you did with your mane." she rarity.

i smiled.

"come on caramel. you can stay with me in ponyville." said fluttershy. "i have a cozy little cottage just big enough for the two of us."

i frowned. my parents still live in ponyville. i wasn't so sure that i wanted to go back.

"what wrong Suger cube." said applejack.

"my parents live in ponyville. im not so sure i want to go back."

i noticed everypony look at me sadly. rainbow dash flew to my side.

"its okay caramel. we'll see that your parents made a big mistake kicking you and saphire out. and we'll try to get you to find your talent and reach you everything about friendship."

 "thank you everypony." i said. i packed my things and with saphire still on fluttershy's back we  headed outside and walked down the stairs to the train station.
