When I opened my eyes, I wasn't in the forest anymore.
I wasn't being wrapped in silky webs.
I didn't have spiders tearing at my flesh.
I was in a white room, laying on a bed. I looked next to me, only to see a drip. It was attached to my wrist.
Oh god.
I was in a hospital.
I looked around the room, and my eye caught on a small hand mirror.
I picked it up and stared into it...
But how?
In the mirror... My reflection had large thick bandages covering my eyes...
What?
How was I seeing through bandages...
This certainly wasn't normal...
"Mother?" I croaked.
"Etcher!" I heard a familiar voice screech, I turned towards the door and saw my beautiful, yet boring, mother, arms outstretched and running towards me.
She plonked herself next to me and wrapped me in a warm hug.
"Mother... You look terrible-" I said. She stared at me... Curiosity burning in her eyes.
"Etched... You can't see me... How could you possibly know what I look like at this very moment?" She questioned.
"I'm not sure... I can just see... Everything."
She hugged me tighter and called for my father
