The Gaurdians of Life and Death

Chapter 2

   I started my journey to the unknown valleys Me and my father never explored before... It was an amazing huge forest with huge trees and little creatures around... There were this cute little bunny/squerl like thing hopping or running around scavaging for food, as I look around I notice something shiny a distance ahead I head over there and saw a gian crystal it was so huge and colorful! I took out my sketchbook and draw it like the previous once that I saw beforw. As I finish and put the sketchbook back in my bag I heard a twig snap only hearing silence, I keep my guard up looking around for anythig suspicious when there was nothing I moved forward looking around just to be safe. As I keep walking I heard footsteps following me from behind I look back and there was no one and so I started walking again, again I heaed the footsteps followed I speed up the phase as they did to until I broke into a sprint not looking back running from something or someone as I almost out run them they stop I look behind seeing a cloak figure as I blink my eyes it was gone 'weird' I thought as I kept moving forward when suddenly a arrow was strike into a tree right behind me I look back and saw the cloak person again and he wasn't alone there were thousands of them I run and run hearing them running after me and shooting their arrows at me. "WHAT DID I DO WRONG!?" I yelled as I keep running not looking back as I run I stop in a water below 'great...' I thought sarcastically as I look back seeing them only 5 maters away from me. As they took a step forward I took a step backward hitting in an air I look behind me and I was now at the edge of the cliff I look back at the cloak persons with arrows. I gulp I look down in the water and back to them I did it like 5 times 'welp there's nothing to loose atleast my backpack is water proof' I thought as I took a step backeard and they stayed at there spot pointing their bows and arrows at me. I stand straight saluting and they look confused as I let myslef fall into the water with a splash, I swam to the surface and paddle myself to the shore as I got to the shore I look at the cliff again seeing that their still there "see ya!" I yelled smilling and walk through the forest.

   I was walking for hours "how long am I gonna be here?" I ask myself looking up at the sky, it was getting dark "welp... Better find some shelter and make a fire" I said to myself as I found a shelter and some sticks. I made a fire luckily there was a river right beside the shelter I made a fishing rod and started fishing. I get this feeling that I'm being watch, I just shrug it off as I got a fish on the line. After eating I rest myself in the trunk of the tree taking my sketckbook out and pencil I started to draw the landsacape at night. It was my hobby when I was 13 I like to draw alot, when I finish I yawned and put them all back into my backpack taking out a blanket and setting my backpack as a pillow. I put the blanket above my body as I started to fall asleep before darkness took over there were shadow figures moving and the darkness took over.

   Me and my companions look at each other as we spy on the young girl falling asleep. "She doesn't look dangerous to me" zen said crossing his arms "don't be fooled by there looks brother" Xian said narrowing his eyes at the girl as I keep an eye on her. We were sent out to look for the intruder who stumbble upon our forest yes we are elves. We protect our homes from humans, monsters and most of all dwarfs, elves and dwarfs never got along well when the war broke...
