TITANIC C7

After the suction, Jack and Rose keep on kicking under the water, trying not to let go of their hands, holding each other’s, tightly. But Jack seemed to be in a problem. He pulled lower by the force of the ship tracking the bottom of the ocean, making them separate unexpectedly.

“Jack!” Rose screamed after gasping some air from under. A very cold breath came out of her mouth.

Everyone’s crying. It can be heard everywhere around. She keeps on looking after for Jack.

Drowned couldn’t be possibly the reason of other’s death but the coldness hitting inside their veins. Like Jack told, stabbing a thousand of knives all over your body. You can’t think, not at least the pain.

“Rose!” she saw her.

“Jack!”

“swim, rose! I need you to swing!”

“it’s so cold!”

They swam through the floating wooden door from one of the rooms in the ship. They tried to stay above but it’s sucked. Only Rose kept while Jack is still freezing.

“The boats are coming back for us, Rose! Hold on just a little bit longer. They had to row away for the suction but now they’ll be coming back!” he explained shaking. Their lips were getting dark because of the cold water. A tiny ice starts to form in their hairs, eyelashes, and eyebrows.

Meanwhile, Molly starts a talk fight with the marinate in their boat.

“You don’t understand!” he said very mad and cold. “if we go back, they’ll swamp the boat. They’ll pull us right down, I’m telling you.”

“knock it off, you’re scaring me! Come on girls, grab an oars. Let’s go!”

“Are you out of your mind? We’re in the middle of the North Atlantic. Now, do you people want to live or do you want to die?”

“I don’t understand a one of you! What’s the matter with you? It’s your men out there! There’s plenty of room for more.”

“And there’ll be one less on this boat! If you don’t shut that hole in your face!”

They transferred others to fill the other boats and rescue passengers.

“it’s getting quiet!” Rose noticed.

“it’s just going to take a couple of minutes to get the boats organized.”

“I don’t know you but I intend to write a strongly-worded letter to the White Star Line about all this.”

“I love you Jack!”

“Don’t you do that. Don’t you say your goodbyes. Not yet. Do you understand me?”

“I’m so cold!”

“Listen, Rose.. you’re gonna get out of here. You’re gonna go on and you’re gonna make lots of babies. And you’re gonna watch them grow. You’re gonna die an old lady, warm in bed. Not here. Not this night. Not like this. Do you understand me?”

“I can’t feel my body.”

“Winning the ticket was the best thing that ever happened to me. It brought me to you. And I’m thankful for that, Rose. I’m thankful. You must do me this honor. You promised me that you’ll survive. That you won’t give up no matter what happens. No matter how hopeless. Promise me now, Rose. And never let go of that promise.”

“I promise.” She replied shaking very hard.

“Never let go”

“I’ll never let go, Jack!”

After a minute, one boat return from the sinking area.

“In my flying machine, and up she goes, up she goes. Come Josephine, in my flying machine.” Rose sung the song they were singing in the aft last afternoon before the sinking. She noticed a beam of light coming from the right side. She wakes up him. Assuming he was just sleeping. But Jack didn’t move an inch, or a respond. She cried, kissing his hands.

“Jack! There’s a boat Jack!” she let go of his hands. “I’ll never let go. I promise.”

“Come back!” she shouted. But a little voice came from her mouth.

She swims, feeling the cold water again. She took the whistle from the floating dead man’s mouth and started to make a whistle making the marinate hear her.

1500 people went into the sea when Titanic sank from under us. There were 20 boats floating nearby, and only one came back. ONE. Six were saved from the water, myself included. Six.. out of 1500. Afterward, the 700 people in the boats had nothing to do but wait. Wait to die, wait to live. Wait for an absolution that would never come. That’s the last time I ever saw him. He married, of course, and inherited his millions. But the crash of ’29 hit his interests hard. And he put a pistol in his mouth that year. Or so I read.

The boats had come to their destination, where the Titanic was supposed to go, New York.

Everyone’s keeping finding their love ones, asking the crews about the list of the survivors. But they’ve got nothing.

By the evening that day also, it was raining, Rose was standing at the basement, staring up at the Statue of Liberty, an officer asked her.

“Can I take your name, please, love?”

Rose looked at him. “Dawson” she paused. “Rose Dawson”

“Thank you” the officer left.

But she immediately removed his eyes from her staring at the Statue when she noticed something inside the coat’s pocket, the diamond necklace. The Heart of the Ocean. She stared at it trying to figure out how the hell did the necklace was placed in her coat. She kept it until her old age.

I don’t even have a picture of him. He exist now only in my memory.)
