"Cef?!" I asked in a strangled voice.

"Who else?" He replied and I could hear te smirk in his tone.

"Cef?" I whispered into the phone unsure if I was hearing the right voice.

"The one and only." he said with a sexy laugh.

"What do you want?" I asked hesitantly and suspiciously.

"I just wanted to hear that beautiful voice of yours." he said calmly and cooly as if it was nothing as if it was an everyday thing. I opened my mouth to say something but I didn't know what to say.

"I...erm-" I was cut off by a sudden beeping coming from my phone. I silently prayed my thanks to god. Saved by the freaking bell.

"Cef? I have to go. Bye!" I nearly screamed into the phone and cursed myself for it as I switched lines.

"Hey Fifi." I heard my best friends familiar and comfortable voice.

"Mitch." it was a statement not a question.

"So whats up Feef?" I rolled my eyes only he could shorten my already short name.

"you'll never guess who I just got off the phone with I whispered into the phone excitedly.

"who?" he asked in a bored tone.

"Cef Frazier!" I giggled into my side of the phone. I heard a sharp intake of breath and then Mitch did something he never does to me. He yelled!

"Fiona ! Are you fucking kidding me! I know you can't be that stupid." wow talk about a slap in the face. That hurt.

"Fifi, I'm sorry." he said after he realized what he had said.

"it's fine." I said.

"it's just, don't you remember what he did to you at the dance right before summer break?" he pleaded with me to understand where he was coming from.

Of course I remember that night, I will never forget it. I was standing in the corner by myself, like always, Mitch had gone so dance with some girl who had bounced up and asked. He still blamed himself for leaving me. I only blamed myself for being a fool. I stood in the corner in a beautiful olive dress of course I looked funny being so ugly and wearing a dress so beautiful. Anyways I was standing there staring at my feet wishing I was at home when I heard someone clear their throat directly in front of me. My head snapped up and I was staring right into Cefs eyes his face was only inches away I could smell his sweet breath as it blew across my face. His lips raised into a smile. "Would you like to dance Fiona?" My jaw dropped and he let out a small laugh I looked around and everyone was staring at us. I didn't know what else to do so I followed him to the dance floor. I was still looking around me and suddenly I saw everyone start to suppress laughter I heard snickers and giggles. I was confused to say the least, but continued to the middle of the room with Cef leading me by the hand. Suddenly he had pulled me close and began to twirl me around the dance floor the longer we danced the more the laughs came but I didn't care I was in heaven. The end of the song began and he dipped me very low my head was thrown back and my eyes closed when I felt an entire bowl of punch being splashed over my face and a giant piece of cake being smashed into my hair. I opened my eyes in shock and horror at Cef. He dropped me to the floor and laughed at me, "Did you think I would really dance with you willingly?" I turned to see Caitlin standing there holding the plate where the cake had once been and one of her goons, Paris or London, I couldn't tell between them, was holding the empty punch bowl and they were laughing like they couldn't stop. "You....Just...Looked...So....HUNGRY!!" Caitlin gasped out between laughs. I was mortified to say the least.

"I remember." I whispered to Mitch the tears from that night threatening to make another appearance.

"I just don't want to see you hurt again Fifi. promise me you want talk to him again." He said with concern and warmth dripping off of every word.
